What is the best Ayurvedic way to gain weight naturally without side effects? - #13590
I’ve always been on the thinner side, but lately, it’s been getting worse. I’m 26 years old, 5’7”, and my weight has dropped to just 48 kg. No matter how much I eat, I don’t seem to gain any weight. My digestion is weak, I feel tired all the time, and my immunity isn’t great either—I keep falling sick every few weeks. I came across the Ayurvedic way to gain weight and started reading about how Ayurveda looks at weight gain differently. Instead of just eating more calories, it focuses on improving digestion (Agni), balancing the doshas (especially Vata), and nourishing the body with herbal remedies and the right kind of foods. I’ve heard that Ashwagandha, Shatavari, and Yashtimadhu are some of the best herbs in the Ayurvedic way to gain weight. But do they actually work? Should I take them in powder form, or are there better formulations? Also, I read that ghee, milk, dates, and nuts play a big role in Ayurvedic nutrition for weight gain. But how much should I take daily? I also want to gain weight in a healthy way, not just add fat. Does the Ayurvedic way to gain weight help in building muscle, or is it more focused on general body mass? Would yoga or any specific exercises be helpful alongside Ayurveda? If anyone has successfully used the Ayurvedic way to gain weight, please share your routine! How long does it take to see results, and what should I avoid doing that might slow down progress?
