How effective is Kerala Ayurveda for authentic Ayurvedic healing and treatment? - #13615
I’ve been reading a lot about Ayurveda lately and how it focuses on natural healing by balancing the body’s doshas. I’m dealing with chronic fatigue, digestive issues, and joint pain, and I don’t want to keep relying on painkillers and antacids. A friend told me that Kerala Ayurveda is the most authentic and effective form of Ayurveda since it follows traditional healing methods with herbal medicines, Panchakarma, and therapeutic massages. I’m really interested in exploring Kerala Ayurveda, but I have so many questions! Is it only useful for people with major illnesses, or can it be used for general wellness and rejuvenation? I read that Kerala has several Ayurvedic centers offering detox treatments and herbal therapies—how do I choose the right one? Has anyone here experienced Kerala Ayurveda for long-term healing? What kind of treatments did you undergo, and did you see real benefits? Also, how long does it take to notice changes with Ayurvedic therapies—do you need to stay in a retreat for weeks, or can you see results with home treatments? Another thing—how strict is the Ayurvedic diet when following Kerala Ayurveda? Will I need to give up certain foods permanently, or is it just during treatment? Would love to hear real experiences from people who have tried authentic Kerala-style Ayurveda!
