How to gain weight with Ayurveda in a natural and healthy way? - #13629

Anonymously

I’ve always struggled with being underweight, and no matter how much I eat, I don’t seem to gain weight. I’m 26 years old, 5’6”, and my weight has been stuck at 45 kg for years. I feel weak, low on energy, and often fall sick. I’ve tried increasing my calorie intake, but my digestion isn’t great, and I feel full too quickly. I recently started researching how to gain weight Ayurveda, and I found that Ayurveda focuses on improving digestion (Agni), balancing Vata dosha, and strengthening the body with natural herbs and nutrient-rich foods. Some commonly recommended remedies include Ashwagandha, Shatavari, and Vidarikand, but I don’t know how to take them properly. Has anyone successfully gained weight with Ayurveda? What foods, herbs, or treatments worked best for you? I’ve read that taking ghee, milk, and dates daily can help with weight gain—does it really work? Also, should I follow any specific Ayurvedic routine for better results? Another concern—how to gain weight Ayurveda safely without just adding unhealthy fat? I want to increase my muscle mass and energy levels, not just gain weight randomly. Should I combine Ayurvedic medicines with yoga or strength training? If anyone has successfully gained weight through Ayurveda, please share your experience! How long did it take to see results?

To gain weight with Ayurveda, the focus is on improving digestion (Agni), balancing Vata dosha, and nourishing the body with herbal remedies and nutrient-rich foods. Effective Ayurvedic Remedies: Ashwagandha and Shatavari help strengthen the body, improve energy levels, and support muscle growth. Vidarikand and Ghee are known to enhance digestion and support weight gain by nourishing tissues. Milk and dates are often recommended to increase caloric intake and improve stamina. Key Foods: Ghee, milk, nuts, and dates can be incorporated into your diet for healthy weight gain. Focus on whole foods that are nutrient-dense, like paneer, avocados, and healthy oils. Lifestyle Tips: Incorporate yoga or strength training to build muscle and improve metabolism. Follow a regular eating schedule with meals that include a balance of proteins, fats, and carbs. Timing and Dosage: Ashwagandha and Shatavari can be taken in powder or capsule form, usually with warm milk or water before meals. Start with small amounts of ghee (1-2 tablespoons daily) and gradually increase intake as digestion improves. Results Timeline: Weight gain with Ayurveda may take a few weeks to a few months, depending on your body's response and consistency with the regimen. Aim for healthy, gradual weight gain focused on building muscle and increasing energy. Conclusion: To gain weight safely, focus on strengthening digestion, choosing nutrient-dense foods, and combining Ayurvedic remedies with physical activity like yoga or strength training
