I have gained comprehensive clinical experience through my internship and professional duties, which has laid a strong foundation for my medical practice. During my internship, I worked extensively across multiple departments, including casualty, general medicine, general surgery, and obstetrics & gynecology at the Government District Hospital, Gadag. This exposure allowed me to handle a variety of acute and chronic cases, sharpen my clinical assessment skills, and actively participate in patient management under the guidance of senior medical professionals. Following this, I served as a duty doctor at AYUSH Hospital, Gadag Betgeri, where I applied my Ayurvedic knowledge in a clinical setting and contributed to patient care in both outpatient and inpatient departments. I successfully completed 366 days of rigorous internship training at DGM Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital, Gadag, where I was involved in patient evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment planning under supervision. My time there allowed me to integrate classical Ayurvedic principles with practical patient care while developing a keen understanding of hospital operations and multidisciplinary collaboration. These experiences have enhanced my ability to handle diverse medical conditions confidently while maintaining a patient-centered approach. I am dedicated to continuing my journey as an Ayurvedic practitioner with the same passion and commitment, focusing on delivering quality, evidence-based, and holistic healthcare.

Dealing with dandruff, seborrheic dermatitis, and acne can be pretty challenging, but Ayurveda offers a holistic approach that might help you manage these conditions more effectively. First, it is important to understand that these conditions may result from imbalances in your doshas, particularly Pitta and Kapha. An increase in oily secretions and inflammation are common signs that these doshas might be agravated. To tackle dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis, you might want to consider using neem oil or a herbal powder containing ingredients like neem and triphala. Apply the oil gently on your scalp half an hour before showering, then rinse thoroughly with warm water. Doing this 3 times a week could help in managing the itchiness and flakiness. For oily skin and acne, incorporating routine cleansing with natural ingredients like besan (gram flour) and rose water can be beneficial. Mix them to form a paste and apply on your face, leaving it for about 15 minutes before washing it off with cool water. This might help in reducing oiliness and preventing acne breakouts. The hormonal changes during menstruation can exacerbate acne. To help with this, try consuming a teaspoon of aloe vera juice twice daily for its cooling properties. Meanwhile, increase your intake of foods that possess anti-inflammatory properties, such as turmeric and ginger. Including them in your diet can support in balancing the body's internal environment. In your daily routine, prioritizing stress-reduction techniques like yoga or meditation can be beneficial. Stress often worsens skin issues, so dedicating even just 15-20 minutes each day to these practices can make a difference. Remember to drink plenty of water throughout the day—well-hydrated skin is less likely to become too oily or breakout. Also consider avoiding heavy, spicy, and sour foods, which can provoke Pitta and exacerbate skin conditions. However, if your symptoms persist or worsen, its essential to consult with a healthcare provider to ensure you receive the appropriate treatment. Incorporating these lifestyle modifications routinely and patiently can promote overall skin health, but professional guidance can help in aligning Ayurvedic practices with your specific needs.
