How can Patanjali Apple Cider Vinegar help with my digestion and weight loss? - #21651

Anonymous

I am really trying to figure out this whole health thing, especially my digestion. So here’s the deal: a few months ago, I started feeling super bloated. It wasn't like the usual bloating after a big meal, it was almost constant, and it was driving me crazy! I did some research and stumbled upon Patanjali apple cider vinegar. I mean, everyone online seems to rave about it, right? So, I thought, why not? I started taking Patanjali apple cider vinegar daily. At first, it felt like a leap of faith since the taste is defintely... let’s say, not what I'm used to! Yikes it’s strong! Just gotta mix it with water, right? Anyway, after a couple of weeks, I thought I might’ve noticed some improvements – my belly felt less like a balloon, but I'm not sure if it was really the Patanjali apple cider vinegar or just my imagination. But now, I’m getting anxious again. My main goal is to feel normal! I’m also trying to shed some pounds, since my friend keeps telling me that weight loss could improve my digestion too. So, here’s my question: does taking Patanjali apple cider vinegar help with weight loss as well? Am I doing this right? I’ve read that it can speed up metabolism, but how true is that? I took the plunge and also started to change my diet, cutting down on sugar and carbs, but sometimes I feel overwhelmed trying to keep it all together. Like, I could just easily reach for junk food, easier — you know what I mean? And I know they say consistency is key, but how long until I see some real results from using Patanjali apple cider vinegar? I mean, I’m a bit impatient when it comes to these things. And honestly, if I stop taking it, am I gonna see everything go back to how it was? That’s kind of terrifying! How important is the routine? I can't lay there after drinking it trying to feel better so if you guys have tips on how to integrate it into my day in a chill way, that would be awesome. Are there specific times that are better for taking the Patanjali apple cider vinegar? Before meals? After? Or just whenever I can fit it in? Any insights would really help me! I just want to feel good and confident as I’m navigating this weight loss and digestion issue... Even just a tiny feedback on experiences would be appreciated! Thanks for listening to my ramble! Really hoping this fix all my issues with Patanjali apple cider vinegar... is that too much to hope for? Looking forward for some advice!

Doctors’ responses

Hey, I hear ya, bloating can be such a pain! You've kinda hit the spot trying out apple cider vinegar (ACV), it's kinda popular these days, right? So, let's dive into it. First up, ACV, like Patanjali's, has been getting its fair share of buzz for digestion and weight loss. But here's a heads-up: it's not a magical fix! In Ayurveda, it's often considered to help balance your pitta dosha and boost agni, your digestive fire. This can help with that balloon-like feeling in your belly. Mixing it with water? Yep, that's the way to make its taste less shocking! Try 1-2 teaspoons in a glass of warm water before meals, it might help in slowly improving digestion. As for weight loss, there isn’t a whole lot of solid evidence, but some say it may help slightly curb appetite and possibly assist metabolism. Remember, though, weight loss is more about a holistic lifestyle – nutrition, exercise, and a mindful routine. You've already cut down on sugar and carbs, which is huge! Keep some fruits and nuts handy, maybe? They can help keep cravings at bay when you feel like reaching for easy, junk eats. Routine-wise, consistency truly is a thing here. Give it a few more weeks to see a real difference. Results vary person to person, so don't get down if it's slow. Regarding stopping it, you may not see a complete revert back, especially if other healthy habits are in place. But, routine helps your body adjust to the changes over time. Take it with meals if you're finding it harsh on an empty stomach, it's okay to tweak until you find what feels right for you. Don't stress too much about messing up sometimes; it's all part of learning what works for your body! Also, keep an eye on how your body reacts. If you feel persistent discomfort or any weird symptoms, or if you've any doubts about adding something new, reach out to a healthcare provider – better safe than sorry. Hang in there, small consistent choices can lead to great results. Trusting the process is half the battle won, right? 😊
