how to use flavoured condom - #24330

Allison

I am struggling a bit with using flavoured condom, right? Like, my partner and I want to explore and have some fun, but I’m not really sure how to use flavoured condom properly without making a mess or feeling awkward. We got some strawberry ones, and they smell amazing! But honestly, the process feels confusing. When I tried it last time, I felt it was slipping off, or maybe I didn't put it on right?? Ugh, it’s frustrating. Also, does it change the experience? Like, I wondered if using flavoured condom would taste any different, or is it just for the smell? I mean, I get the whole idea of it being l like a fun twist, but what if we're just overcomplicating it? What about the lube, do you use it with flavoured condom? I read mixed things about adding anything on top of it, so I'm being cautious, ya know! Any tips or things I should avoid? Would love to hear experience or tricks from you guys. Thanks!

Ah, it seems you're diving into the world of flavored condoms! They can indeed spice things up, both for the aroma and the taste. When it comes to using them, the process is much the same as with regular ones. To prevent it from slipping off, you might want to ensure you squeeze the tip of the condom to leave room for semen before unrolling it all the way down the shaft. If it feels loose, you might just need a different size, and that’s no big deal, trying out a few sizes is part of figuring out what works best for you. The taste of flavoured condoms is definitely something that can change the experience, since some couples enjoy the added sensual stimulation through taste. However, it’s primarily for the purpose of oral sex. The flavor tends to be noticeable, although it might not be as strong as the smell. Just keep your expectations in moderation since not every flavor is going to be equally enjoyable for everyone. When it comes to lube, it's good practice to use water-based lubricants as oil-based lubricants can degrade the latex, making condoms less effective. Most flavored condoms come lubricated, but if it feels a bit dry add a compatible lube. Be gentle with the lube, though, as too much can make everything slippery and potentially cause issues with staying on. Lastly, check in with your partner. Sometimes, the simplest solution is just openly communicating about what feels right and what doesn't during use. Address any awkwardness by having a relaxed, open dialogue with them. This can make a world of difference. But above all, have fun and enjoy the experience. It’s an exploration to be shared together.
