I'm probably doing it wrong, but I am trying to get rid of parasites and I think that it's only making it worse. I'm more bloated now. I see there are tons of different ways, but I just really want to know the proper way please.

Parasite detoxification can indeed be a complex process, and it’s crucial to approach it with the right balance of diet, herbs, and lifestyle for safe and effective results. Bloating can be a sign of imbalances in your digestive system, so addressing your digestive fire or ‘agni’ is key.
Begin by evaluating your diet. Aim to consume light, easily digestible foods. Favor warm, cooked meals and incorporate spices like ginger, turmeric, and cumin that kindle agni. These can help reduce bloating and improve the digestion process, which can be compromised during detox attempts.
Consider herbal support. Ayurvedic herbs like vidanga (Embelia ribes) and neem (Azadirachta indica) are traditionally used for their antiparasitic properties. These should be used cautiously and ideally under guidance, as they can be potent and may not suit every constitution.
Hydration is crucial but focus on warm water or herbal teas like fennel or peppermint, which aids digestion and minimizes bloating. Avoid cold drinks and raw foods, which can weaken agni.
Panchakarma, an Ayurvedic therapy, can be particularly effective for detoxification. Procedures like Virechana (therapeutic purgation) might be considered for toxin expulsion but should only performed under supervision by an experienced Ayurvedic practitioner.
Examine your lifestyle too; stress can exacerbate digestive issues. Relaxation techniques like yoga, pranayama, and meditation help reduce stress, thereby supporting your digestive health and overall immunity, essential in tackling parasites.
If symptoms persist or worsen, it’s crucial to seek direct consultation with a healthcare provider or Ayurvedic expert to ensure the presence of insects and explore personalized treatment. It’s really importen to avoid self-medication, especially if guided by non-professional online sources which may not cater to your unique constitution.
