Hyperpigmentation, bloating, and constipation suggest imbalance in your body’s doshas, particularly Vata and Pitta. In Siddha-Ayurveda, we would look at these symptoms systemically rather than each in isolation. For your skin, excess Pitta can manifest as hyperpigmentation. To balance Pitta, focus on a cooling and soothing routine. Use ingredients such as rose water or sandalwood paste on your face as a natural pacifier. Adjust your diet to include more cooling foods like cucumber, cilantro, and include aloe vera juice, sometimes these can bring natural radiance when absorbed internally and externally.
Bloating and constipation usually indicate disturbed Vata dosha. For Vata balance, ensure proper hydration throughout the day. Warm water is a good start, and you should be consistent with it. Incorporate warm, moist, and slightly oily foods into your meals — think soups, stewed fruit, and porridge. Include sesame oil in cooking for its warming properties or even consider an external oil application (Abhyanga) for Vata pacification.
Try to include Triphala in your evening routine, as it helps in regulating digestion and can be a natural alternative to Gandharv Haritaki. But make use of it consistently, rather than on an on-and-off basis. Always consume it with warm water.
Remember, lifestyle plays a significant role: ensure a regular sleep cycle and reduce stress through daily meditation or gentle yoga. If your symptoms persist or worsen, consulting a practitioner closer to your location would be wise—you might need more personalized adjustments. If any condition becomes acute, immediate medical attention is essential.
