I am a little confused about something and need some advice! Last week, I came down with a pretty bad cold and cough. It started off with just a sore throat, but then it got worse — runny nose, coughing fits, the whole deal. Ugh! I remember my grandma always saying that sugarcane juice is really good for health. Like, she’d say it’s super refreshing and can help with various things. I was thinking, can we drink sugarcane juice during cold and cough? I mean, I love the stuff, but I wonder if it might make my symptoms worse instead. I've tried a few other things, like warm herbal teas and honey, but the cough just won't let up and I really want to feel better! Yesterday, I had some sugarcane juice with friends, and it felt good going down but now I’m worried if it was a bad idea. I read mixed things online — some say it's great for soothing, others say it might not be the best when dealing with respiratory issues? I’m already feeling all congested and stuff. Can we drink sugarcane juice during cold and cough or should I totally avoid it? Any thoughts on this would help, thanks! I just want to make sure I’m doing what's best for my health right now.
