Doctors' responses

Hello Vicky ji, I can understand your concern and It is absolutely natural to feel anxious and wish to explore gentle, natural, and holistic alternatives instead of conventional chemotherapy. But dont worry we are here to help you out😊

✅ Understanding Pancreatic Cancer in Ayurvedic Terms

In Ayurveda, such growths are correlated with “Arbuda” (malignant growth or tumor), often associated with Yakrit-Pliha Granthi when it involves liver spread.

✅AYURVEDIC PLAN. OF TREATMENT

✅INTERNAL MEDICATION

1 Chemoyog 1 sachet mix with Varunadi ghrita 1 tsp and take morning empty stomach

2 Brecan 1 cap at 8 am

3 Cytocruel At 1-0-1 after food

4 Varundi Kashayam 15ml+45 ml water after food

5 Amlaki Rasyana 1 tsp at bed time followed by warm water

( All the above medications are mostly to reduce the size and prevent further spread )

Follow the regimen for 30 days

✅DIET AND LIFESTYLE

✅Include-

Prefer light, easily digestible, warm food: khichdi, moong dal soup, vegetable stew, bottle gourd, ridge gourd, pumpkin, drumstick.

Avoid heavy, fried, oily, refined, spicy, and preserved foods.

Stay away from white sugar, refined flour, bakery, carbonated drinks, and cold food.

Use ghee (in small amounts) — it helps absorb fat-soluble nutrients and pacifies Pitta.

Include herbal infusions: ginger, cumin, coriander, and turmeric water.

Maintain adequate hydration — warm water throughout the day aids detox.

✅Lifestyle & Emotional Health:

Maintain a regular sleep schedule (10 PM to 6 AM) for hormonal balance.

Practice gentle yoga asanas like Shavasana, Sukhasana, Vajrasana (avoid exertion).

Perform Pranayama — especially Anulom Vilom and Bhramari for oxygenation and calmness.

Daily self-abhyanga (oil massage) helps relax the nervous system and improve circulation.

Spend time in early morning sunlight to improve mood and vitamin D.

✅ Emotional and Spiritual Care

Cancer not only affects the body but also deeply disturbs the mind.

Chanting or listening to Mahamrityunjaya Mantra daily instills inner strength.

Meditation on breath or light for 10–15 minutes morning and evening helps reduce fear.

Maintain a positive environment — avoid negative news and conversations.

Surround yourself with nature, fresh air, and uplifting company.

✅ Integrative & Supportive Modern Approach

It’s important to keep communication open with your oncologist. While Ayurveda can support your immunity, digestion, and emotional stability, oncological monitoring (like tumor markers and imaging) remains crucial to track progression.

In your condition, the focus should be on balancing metabolism, supporting immunity, improving strength, and living meaningfully with calmness and faith.

Please remember — this path requires discipline, positivity, and regular follow up so that we can tailor the medicines and diet according to your strength (Bala) and digestion (Agni).

Wishing you a good health😊

Warm Regards Dr Snehal Vidhate

Hello dear

It is really sad to hear about your sufferings. Please donot be rigid about only one pathy. Even the great granthakars of ayurveda have mentioned that i some cases you cannot relie only on one method of treatment.

You should go with a holistic approach to fight your condition and you can recover soon.

Donot skip your chemo therapy.

Here is a regime and some supportive meds that you can take to reduce the tumor (arbud) and also keep you healthy and unaffected with the side effects of the tumor.

✔️ Eat freshly prepared home cooked food. ✔️ Keep a watch on your protein intake. It ahs to be sufficient. Simple and easily digestible source of protein would be dal or grilled chicken or boiled egg. You have to experiment what is easily digestible for you and continue its intake. ✔️ 100 steps after each meals is must. ✔️ Early to bed early to rise. ✔️ Positive thinking and positive attitude.

🧘‍♀️Yoga🧘‍♀️ Tadasan Vrukshasan Sarvangasan Pashimotanasan Trikonasan

🧘‍♀️Pranayam🧘‍♀️ Anulom Vilom Kapalbhati Tratak Shavasan with Meditation

Hey Vicky, first off, I’m truly sorry you’re facing this – pancreatic cancer diagnosis with such rapid spread to the liver in just 3 weeks and I respect your choice to skip chemo. In Ayurveda, we see cancer (Arbuda) as a Kapha-Pitta imbalance with toxin buildup (Ama), and while we can’t “cure” it alone, holistic management can support immunity, reduce symptoms, slow progression and boost quality of life, especially with your stable symptoms and moderate energy. Studies show Ayurvedic Rasayana (rejuvenation) therapies improving outcomes in advanced cases, like better tolerance to disease and even tumor marker drops.

To refine this, I’d need: Exact stage/type (eg. Stage III/IV?) and recent scans (CT/MRI abdomen, PET-CT for spread). Tumor markers (CA19-9, CEA) and liver function tests (ALT/AST, bilirubin). Any symptoms (pain, jaundice, appetite loss?) and any previous herbal remedies tried or not.

Internal Medicines (Focused for Detox, Immunity, Liver Support)

1. Kanchanar Guggulu Tablets (anti-tumor, reduces fibrosis): 2 tablet twice daily after meals. 2. Triphala Churna (detox, gut-liver support): 1 tsp nightly with warm water. 3 Bhumyamalaki tablet (liver protectant): 2 tablets twice daily before meals. 4. Ashwagandha Tablets (for immunity): 1 tablet (500 mg) twice daily with milk. 5. Punarnavadi Kashayam (diuretic, anti-inflammatory ): 15 ml + equal water, twice daily before meals.

These medications can’t provide the full cure. And also you might need chemotherapy too but along with that you can have these medications which are going to support your internal system to fight off with cancer and to withstand the progression. Do share the reports and investigations I have asked above.

Regards Dr Gursimran Jeet Singh MD Panchakarma

Hello Vicky Sad to hear about your condition. You still have moderate energy levels so i advise you to do panchakarma therapy (detox therapy). So the medicines we will prescrib will have good effect and also it will help in reducing inflammation with in the body. Now the immune response of your body is very low as there is also presence of fibrous coat . In that scenario i suggest you to go for immunotherapy new clinical trials have good response on that. It will increase your body’s immune response and will help you further There is one more device TTF BELT it send electric impulses which helps in decreasing inflammation and tumour activity. Now for the herbal medicine 1. Arogyavardhini vati 2BD BF 2. Ashvagandha extract 1 cap BD 3. Kanchnar guggul 2BD A F 4. Tab vireval 2 BD A F These will help you with the immunity and inflammation. HELLO,

The pancreas is an organ behind the stomach that helps digest food and regulate blood sugar by producing insulin. When cancer starts in the pancreases, it tends to grow quietly and is often detected late- because early symptoms are vague like tiredness, loss of appetite, or mild stomach pain

WHAT IT MEANS WHEN IT SPREADS TO THE LIVER When pancreatic cancer cells travel through the blood to the liver, it means the disease is now metastatic (stage 4) . This liver may develop small or large deposits of the cancer. This ca affect digestion, energy, and appetite.

WHY CONVENTIONAL TREATMENT IS DIFFICULT Pancreatic cancer cells are covered by a dense fibrous shield (storm) that hides them from the immune system and blocks drugs from entering That’s why chemotherapy and even immune therapies don’t always work well- not because they are “wrong”, but because the cancer environment is very resistant .

In Ayurveda, this condition can be understood as -Yakrit-pliha vriddhi (enlarged liver spleen) and -Agni Mandya (weak digestive fire) leading to -Aam and srotosodhana (toxic buildup and channel blockage) Over time, this causes abnormal tissue growth- “Arbuda”- which is similar to tumor

The goal in Ayurveda is not to “cure” advanced cancer but to, -slow progression -improve digestive and metabolic strength -support immunity -reduce toxicity -improve comfort, energy and quality life

INTERNAL MEDICATIONS

1) GUDUCHI SATVA= 500mg twice daily with warm water after meals =improves immunity, reduce inflammation, strengthens liver, and pancreas

2) KUTKI CHURNA= 250 mg twice daily after meals for 6 months = detoxifies liver, helps bile flow clears toxin buildup

3) PUNARNAVADI KASHAYA= 30 ml + equal water twice daily before meals =reduces swelling, helps in liver detox and improves circulation

4)AROGYAVARDHINI VATI= 1 tab twice daily after meals =supports liver and digestion, clears metabolic toxins

5) KANCHANAR GUGGULU= 2 tabs twice daily after meals =reduces abnormal tissue growth, improves lymph drainage

6) TRIPHALA CHURNA = 1 tsp with warm water at bedtime =gentle detox, supports bowel health

7) ASHWAGANDHA CAPSULES= 500mg cap twice daily with milk =strenghtens immunity, reduces stress and fatigue

TURMERIC + BLACK PEPPER = 1 tsp powder In warm water daily =anti inflammatory, support liver and immunity

EXTERNAL THERAPIES

1) OIL MASSAGE= KSHEERBALA TAILA -gentle oil massage 2-3 times per week = improves circulation, reduces fatigue, promotes calmess

2) MILD STEAMING= removes toxins through sweat, reduces stiffess

3) HERBAL PASTE ON ABDOMEN= turmeric + castor oil if mild pain, apply warm

DIET -soft, warm, easy to digest meals -khichdi, moong dal soup, vegetable stew -cooked vegetables like bottle gourd, ridge gourd, pumpkin, ash gourd -Fruits= papaya, pomegranate, apple stewed -Healthy fats= small amounts of ghee, coconut oil -Herbal teas= ginger, tulsi, cinnamon, or turmeric tea

AVOID -deep fried, processed, spicy, or very sour foods -red meat, heavy dairy, and sweets -alcohol, tobacco, and excess caffeine -cold or leftover food

LIFESTYLE -wake up early, maintain calm morning habits -light oil massage before bath as advised -midday main meal, light dinner before 7 pm -rest adequately avoid over exertion

YOGA ASANAS -tadasana -shashankasana -supta baddha konasana -shavasana

PRANAYAM -Anulom vilom=5-10 min -bhramari= 5 min -deep diaphragmatic breathing= several times daily

These help calm the nervous system and improve oxygenation

HOME REMEDIES -Aloe vera juice= 1 tbsp daily for liver support -Wheatgrass juice= 30 ml daily- antioxidant, helps energy -Lemon water with honey in morning for mild detox -turmeric + black pepper as advised

INVESTIGATIONS TO MONITOR -LFT -KFT -CA 19-9 -Ultrasound/ CT abdomen -CBC

-Pancreatic cancer with liver spread is serious, curative therapy is limited, but comfort, strength, and time can often be improved with integrative support -Ayurveda offers holistic strength building-not magic, nut a nurturing path that supports body, mind and spirit -Continue regular follow up with your conchologist, combining both systems safely provides the best outcomes -Mental calmness, faith, nutrition, rest and love from. family matter as much as medications

HOPE THIS MIGHT BE HELPFUL

Thank you for reaching from this platform regarding your health concerns. Pancreatic cancer can be treated with ayurveda but you have follow strictly treatment and diet for a long period with patience and consistency. The aim is to support the body Slow down the spread Reduce inflammation Strength and the digestion Keep the liver functioning as smoothly as possible As you don’t want chemotherapy the treatment as to be gentle and continuous without over stimulating the system or causing weakness

I understand the cancer had spread to the liver , this happens because pancreatic cancer forms a thick fibrous layer itself. This make it difficult for the bodies own immune cells to recognize and destroy. So the first step is not to fight the cancer directly

The first step is to soften body environment Reduce internal toxicity Support the liver And stabilize digestion

Initially you have to go for rejuvenation therapy to boost your immunity So you have to undergo

Deepana Pachana Snehana Swedana Sirobasti

It can be done in any good ayurvedic pancharma centre

After the above management You can start Medication

1) Vriddi badhika Vati two times a day with warm water after meals 2) Kanchanara gugulu two times a DAY 3)Arogya vardhan vati two times a day 4)Giloya satva 125mg two times a day with honey 5)Aloe vara juice with wheat grass 20ml each with warm water once a day on empty stomach

Food must be simple, warm easy to digest Well cooked vegetables, soft rice , Dal Steam food Avoid cold, spice , fried, bakery, sweets, alcohol

Practice yogasana

I may need your all details, blood investigation, scan reports so that I can add supportive medication and further follow up. Wish you speedy recovery Wi

Pancreatic cancer presents unique challenges, and it’s crucial to explore all options carefully. Ayurveda believe in addressing the body’s balance and supporting its natural healing mechanisms. While chemotherapy is often a recommended medical option, some individuals seek complementary approaches alongside or instead of allopathic treatments. For Ayurveda, our focus is often on strengthening your agni (digestive fire) and supporting immune response without interfering with essential medical treatments.

First, let’s address diet and digestion. Focus on a sattvic diet, rich in fresh fruits and vegetables, whole grains like rice or quinoa & legumes that are easier to digest. Avoid heavy, fatty, or spicy foods which might burden your digestive system. Incorporate ginger and turmeric, known to enhance digestive fire and possess anti-inflammatory properties. A decoction of ginger and turmeric in warm water can be consumed twice daily.

Yoga, pranayama, and meditation can play a vital role. Regular practice of gentle yoga asanas like shavasana or viparita karani, paired with deep breathing indications, helps to reduce stress and improve prana flow. Meditation improves mental clarity, often crucial at managing stress during such challenging times.

Herbs like Ashwagandha and Guduchi are known for their adaptogenic properties, potentially strengthening the body’s response to stress and boosting immunity. These should be taken under the guidance of a qualified Ayurvedic practitioner, especially for someone with a complex condition.

Consultation with an integrative physician is beneficial to ensure any Ayurvedic practices harmonize with your overall care plan. More immediate, pressing concerns—such as rapidly spreading cancer—should always be evaluated through conventional medical lens as well, to avoid missing urgent necessary treatment. Ayurveda can offer support, but in serious cases, it’s crucial to blend with conventional treatment.
