Doctors’ responses
Hey Vicky, first off, I’m truly sorry you’re facing this – pancreatic cancer diagnosis with such rapid spread to the liver in just 3 weeks and I respect your choice to skip chemo. In Ayurveda, we see cancer (Arbuda) as a Kapha-Pitta imbalance with toxin buildup (Ama), and while we can’t “cure” it alone, holistic management can support immunity, reduce symptoms, slow progression and boost quality of life, especially with your stable symptoms and moderate energy. Studies show Ayurvedic Rasayana (rejuvenation) therapies improving outcomes in advanced cases, like better tolerance to disease and even tumor marker drops.
To refine this, I’d need: Exact stage/type (eg. Stage III/IV?) and recent scans (CT/MRI abdomen, PET-CT for spread). Tumor markers (CA19-9, CEA) and liver function tests (ALT/AST, bilirubin). Any symptoms (pain, jaundice, appetite loss?) and any previous herbal remedies tried or not.
Internal Medicines (Focused for Detox, Immunity, Liver Support)
1. Kanchanar Guggulu Tablets (anti-tumor, reduces fibrosis): 2 tablet twice daily after meals. 2. Triphala Churna (detox, gut-liver support): 1 tsp nightly with warm water. 3 Bhumyamalaki tablet (liver protectant): 2 tablets twice daily before meals. 4. Ashwagandha Tablets (for immunity): 1 tablet (500 mg) twice daily with milk. 5. Punarnavadi Kashayam (diuretic, anti-inflammatory ): 15 ml + equal water, twice daily before meals.
These medications can’t provide the full cure. And also you might need chemotherapy too but along with that you can have these medications which are going to support your internal system to fight off with cancer and to withstand the progression. Do share the reports and investigations I have asked above.

✅ Understanding Pancreatic Cancer in Ayurvedic Terms
In Ayurveda, such growths are correlated with “Arbuda” (malignant growth or tumor), often associated with Yakrit-Pliha Granthi when it involves liver spread.
✅AYURVEDIC PLAN. OF TREATMENT
✅INTERNAL MEDICATION
1 Chemoyog 1 sachet mix with Varunadi ghrita 1 tsp and take morning empty stomach
2 Brecan 1 cap at 8 am
3 Cytocruel At 1-0-1 after food
4 Varundi Kashayam 15ml+45 ml water after food
5 Amlaki Rasyana 1 tsp at bed time followed by warm water
( All the above medications are mostly to reduce the size and prevent further spread )
Follow the regimen for 30 days
✅DIET AND LIFESTYLE
✅Include-
Prefer light, easily digestible, warm food: khichdi, moong dal soup, vegetable stew, bottle gourd, ridge gourd, pumpkin, drumstick.
Avoid heavy, fried, oily, refined, spicy, and preserved foods.
Stay away from white sugar, refined flour, bakery, carbonated drinks, and cold food.
Use ghee (in small amounts) — it helps absorb fat-soluble nutrients and pacifies Pitta.
Include herbal infusions: ginger, cumin, coriander, and turmeric water.
Maintain adequate hydration — warm water throughout the day aids detox.
✅Lifestyle & Emotional Health:
Maintain a regular sleep schedule (10 PM to 6 AM) for hormonal balance.
Practice gentle yoga asanas like Shavasana, Sukhasana, Vajrasana (avoid exertion).
Perform Pranayama — especially Anulom Vilom and Bhramari for oxygenation and calmness.
Daily self-abhyanga (oil massage) helps relax the nervous system and improve circulation.
Spend time in early morning sunlight to improve mood and vitamin D.
✅ Emotional and Spiritual Care
Cancer not only affects the body but also deeply disturbs the mind.
Chanting or listening to Mahamrityunjaya Mantra daily instills inner strength.
Meditation on breath or light for 10–15 minutes morning and evening helps reduce fear.
Maintain a positive environment — avoid negative news and conversations.
Surround yourself with nature, fresh air, and uplifting company.
✅ Integrative & Supportive Modern Approach
It’s important to keep communication open with your oncologist. While Ayurveda can support your immunity, digestion, and emotional stability, oncological monitoring (like tumor markers and imaging) remains crucial to track progression.
In your condition, the focus should be on balancing metabolism, supporting immunity, improving strength, and living meaningfully with calmness and faith.
Please remember — this path requires discipline, positivity, and regular follow up so that we can tailor the medicines and diet according to your strength (Bala) and digestion (Agni).
Wishing you a good health😊
Warm Regards Dr Snehal Vidhate
