Thank you for reaching out with your health concerns Post tuberculosis bronchiectasis with occasional mild blood in Puta is common because the airways become permanently wide and fragile. For managing bronchiectasis and mild hemoptysis through Ayurveda, focus on balancing the Kapha and Vata doshas, which are often implicated in respiratory issues. Begin incorporating specific dietary, lifestyle, and herbal recommendations to stabilize your condition.

Diet plays a crucial role, so aim for warm, light, and easy-to-digest meals. Include cooked vegetables like spinach, carrot, and zucchini. Opt for warm, soupy lentils such as mung dal, which are easy on digestion. Avoid dairy, cold, and greasy foods, as they may increase Kapha. Include a bit of ginger and turmeric in your meals - they help reduce inflammation and act as natural expectorants.

Lifestyle adaptation is also essential. Avoid cold and damp environments that could aggravate respiratory discomfort. Practice pranayama regularly, such as Anulom Vilom (alternate nostril breathing) to enhance lung function and stress reduction. Be careful not to exert yourself physically to the point of causing breathlessness.

Herbs such as Vasaka (Adhatoda vasica) and Pippali (Piper longum) may be beneficial. Vasaka is known for its effectiveness in managing cough, and Pippali enhances respiratory function. These can be taken in powder form, ideally mixed with honey, bringing soothing effects on the respiratory tract.

Besides, liquorice root can be beneficial for soothing your throat and reducing cough. Prepare a decoction by boiling the root in water, and consume it when warm. Consider taking this under the guidance of an Ayurvedic practitioner to ensure appropriate dosages.

While these therapies offer support, mild hemoptysis warrants caution. Ensure continuous monitoring and do not discontinue conventional treatments or consultations. If bleeding increases or new symptoms arise, seek immediate medical attention. Ayurveda complements, but should not replace critical care when necessary.
