I am really desperate to find some relief from my oily skin issues! I've been trying to take care of my skin but nothing seems to work. A friend mentioned multani mitti and I was like, okay, let me give this a shot. I remember my mom used to always say it works wonders, but honestly, I have no clue how to make multani mitti face pack. I’ve looked online but every tutorial I find is a bit complicated. Ugh! Last week, I tried a bunch of different home remedies, you know, like lemon and honey and all that, but my face just feels super greasy all the time. I even went to a dermatologist and they said my skin's just really oily, which I already knew! 😩 So now, I'm thinking maybe multani mitti can actually help? Can someone please break down how to make multani mitti face pack? Like, which additional ingredients should I mix in? Water? Rose water? I want to do this right! And how often should I use it? Every day or is that too much?? Would love any tips or secrets, what worked for you guys? I seriously just need something that’ll help with this craziness!

Multani mitti, also known as Fuller’s Earth, is quite beneficial for oily skin due to its natural cooling, absorbent, and purifying properties, which help reduce oiliness and improve skin clarity. To prepare a simple yet effective multani mitti face pack, combine two tablespoons of multani mitti with a few tablespoons of rose water. Rose water is particularly good for oily or acne-prone skin because of its astringent and soothing qualities. Adjust the amount to achieve a smooth, spreadable paste.

After making this basic mix, you can enhance the pack’s effectiveness by adding a teaspoon of lemon juice, which aids in controlling oil and has a mild bleaching effect; however, test it on a small skin patch to ensure it doesn’t cause irritation. For even greater hydrating and soothing effects, consider a tiny amount of cucumber juice. This could help balance the pack for oily-sensitive skin types.

Apply this mix evenly over your face and neck, avoiding the eye area. leave it on for about 15-20 minutes. It’s best to allow the pack to dry naturally before rinsing it off with lukewarm water. Pat dry with a clean towel. Be careful not to scrub harshly as that could irritate your skin.

Use the face pack 2-3 times a week; using it daily might overdry the skin, triggering your sebaceous glands to produce more oil as compensation. Remember, keeping the skin moisturized is important as well, even for oily skin, so use a lightweight, non-comedogenic moisturizer afterwards.

Also, maintain a balanced diet and adequate hydration to support your skin’s overall health. Stay mindful of your lifestyle choices, ensuring stress is managed and restful sleep is prioritized, as they impact skin health.
