Persistent Swelling on Clitoris After Stimulation - #48062

Client_df69a2

I’ve had swelling on my clitoris for about a month and a half, and it hasn’t gone away. I think it started after excessive stimulation/irritation. I tried medications, but they caused irritation and the swelling still hasn’t improved. My doctors haven’t found anything abnormal so far. What could be the reason, and what should I do next?”

How would you describe the severity of the swelling?:

- Moderate, some discomfort

Have you noticed any other symptoms accompanying the swelling?:

- No other symptoms

What type of medications have you tried?:

- Topical creams

From an Ayurvedic perspective this type of swelling is most often due to local aggravation of Pitta and Vata dosha caused by excessive stimulation friction heat and repeated irritation… The clitoral tissue is extremely sensitive and richly supplied with nerves and blood vessels so even minor trauma can lead to prolonged swelling and sensitivity… When topical creams are used repeatedly especially strong or mixed creams they can further disturb the local tissue balance increase dryness heat and irritation and delay natural healing…

The absence of discharge severe pain redness fever or other symptoms suggests that this is not an infection but rather localized tissue sensitivity and inflammatory response…

The most important step is complete rest to allow healing Avoid all forms of stimulation, friction, sexual activity…

Stop all topical applications, Clean the area only with plain lukewarm water and avoid soaps washes wipes or antiseptics… Wear loose cotton underwear and avoid tight clothing, heat waxing, shaving or hair removal…

Internally take Shatavari churna half teaspoon once daily with lukewarm water

If there is anxiety take Ashwagandha 1 capsule at night…

If swelling persists further evaluation by is advised…

With time proper care and avoidance of irritation most such cases resolve gradually…
