Doctors' responses
This pain is mainly due to aggravation of Vata Dosha, which affects the lower back, buttock, and groin region. In Ayurveda, it is often correlated with conditions like Gridhrasi or Katishoola. It happens due to dryness and disturbed movement of Vata in the body. Treatment focuses on balancing Vata through oil therapies, fomentation, and appropriate medicines. — go for x-ray or mri of lumbar region-pa view –Diagnosis Vata aggravation – Gridhrasi / Katishoola – Internal Medicines 1) Sahacharadi Kashayam 15 ml + 20 ml warm water, twice daily before food 2) Yogaraja Guggulu 2 tablets twice daily after food 3) Dhanwantharam Gulika 1 tablet twice daily after food — External Treatment Sahacharadi Tailam Local application over lower back & buttock, twice daily (followed by mild hot fomentation) ---- Adjuvant Warm water Avoid cold exposure ---- Pathya (Advice) Avoid: cold food, dry food, prolonged sitting Prefer: warm, oily diet Gentle stretching, rest — Follow-up After 15 days
