Im female age 52,a patient of psoriasis,from 12 years,now i got pain in my elbow,how to cure it natural ways.

Begin by evaluating your diet. Aim to avoid spicy, fried, and excessively oily foods which can exacerbate Pitta. Opt for a diet that is cooling and calming such as incorporating ghee, coriander, cilantro, pumpkin, and sweet fruits like melons and grapes. A tablespoon of Aloe Vera juice on an empty stomach is said to help gently detoxify and is soothing for the skin.

For topical relief, applying a coconut oil infused with neem and turmeric can offer relief from itching and redness. Prepare this by warming about 30ml of coconut oil and infusing it with a pinch of turmeric and a few neem leaves. Let the mixture cool and apply it gently to affected areas. Remember, consistency is important – use it daily.

To address your elbow pain, consider the aspect of Vata imbalance. Warm sesame oil massages can be profoundly effective. Gently warm the oil and apply it to the elbow, massaging in circular motions. This can be done twice a day.

Additionally, maintain regular joint flexibility through mild stretching exercises. Try gentle yoga poses like the “Gomukhasana” (Cow Face Pose) which can specifically aid in elbow relief.

Pay attention to lifestyle factors too. Ensure adequate hydration, as dryness can worsen Vata and Pitta conditions. Aim for 6-8 glasses of water a day.

Practices like pranayama and meditation are beneficial for stress management, which can be a significant trigger for psoriasis flare-ups. Nadi Shodhana (alternate nostril breathing) fosters balance in the body’s energies and can be practiced for 5-10 minutes daily.
