I am 32 years old male after Intercourse my body feels dried from inside. I experience dryness before Intercourse also but after it dryness increases I feel irritated and mood swings. I don't feel doing any thing for 2 to 3 days. I have body fat which is more than average.i feel weakness in my whole body. Lot of gas and bloating issue. I wanted to know if I can use atibala powder for this, As I has bp issue in the past which was resolved after making lifestyle changes. But now I am more into sedentary lifestyle due to work. Kindly focus on atibala powder for which I am asking especially vata dosh.

In practice, I combine Panchakarma with lifestyle guidance, diet planning, herbal remedies, yoga and mindfulness practices depending on what a patient actually needs at that moment. No two cases are same, and Ayurveda reminds me daily that healing must be personal. My approach is always focused on root-cause management rather than temporary relief. Diet, herbs, therapeutic oils, meditation routines, and simple daily habits—they all work together when chosen rightly. Sometimes results come slow, sometimes faster, but I try to keep care sustainable and compassionate. Helping someone regain energy, sleep better, or reduce pain, that is the real achievement in my journey. Using therapies such as Kati Basti (localized oil retention on the lower back) and potent anti-inflammatory herbs like Guggulu and Shallaki, I focus on reducing inflammation, improving joint mobility, and strengthening tissues. My treatments have helped many patients, particularly those seeking non-invasive alternatives, regain mobility and reduce pain through a blend of internal medications and external therapies. Skin disorders are another key area of my practice, where I address conditions like eczema, psoriasis, acne, and pigmentation issues holistically. By focusing on blood purification and balancing Pitta dosha and detoxifying Panchakarma techniques like Raktamokshana (bloodletting). Take cow ghee 1tsp during once a day in your meal 5. Daily Massage with Tila Taila 6. Avoid staying up late at Night 7. Add fibre in your diet like fruits and raw vegetables 8. Hi Deepak as per you description it is clear that VATA PITA of your body is getting aggravated after each intercourse. So we have to focus on thus. ATIBALA is basically having snigdha /moisture nature ,you can use it which can also helps to regulate your vata Pita dosa

Please do have 3-4litres of water in day time and also include tender coconut water too

*Try to avoid continuos sit (Dont sit continuesly more than 1hour ) - which can also aggravates your Vata ,PITA and the body heat too

Take atleast 3/4 LITRES water per day…

Add ghee in your diet with milk at night …1 TSP…

Before you start using Atibala powder, you first need to strengthen your digestion and metabolism. If your digestive fire (Agni) is weak, even good medicines like Atibala will not work effectively. For the next 10–15 days, take Vaishwanara Choornam – about half a teaspoon with lukewarm water before lunch. This will help reduce gas, bloating, and heaviness, and clear the body of Ama (metabolic toxins). Once digestion improves, you can safely begin rejuvenating herbs.

Why you feel this dryness and weakness

From a modern view, after sexual activity your body loses energy, minerals, and essential fluids. When digestion and metabolism are low, the body cannot rebuild these quickly, which leads to fatigue, dryness, mood swings, and irritability. Sitting for long hours further slows down blood circulation and hormonal balance, which makes recovery slower and aggravates Vata dosha. This is why you feel drained, dry, and demotivated for a few days after intercourse.

Ayurvedic plan

After you complete about 10–15 days of Vaishwanara Choornam and your digestion feels lighter, start taking Ashwagandha choornam with warm milk at bedtime — one teaspoon mixed in a glass of milk, with a little ghee or jaggery if you like.

In the morning or evening, you can also drink milk boiled with Atibala, Ashwagandha, and Gokshura powders. Take half a teaspoon of each, boil with one cup of milk and one cup of water together until it reduces to one cup, then strain and drink warm.

This combination nourishes the tissues, restores energy, and helps manage Vata-related dryness and fatigue.

Diet and daily care

Avoid coffee, tea, alcohol, smoking, and all junk or fried foods. Eat light, warm, and freshly cooked meals — things like moong dal, rice, soups, and vegetables prepared with ghee or a little sesame oil. Drink enough warm water through the day.

Try to get at least seven to eight hours of sound sleep every night. Gentle yoga or a short walk daily will also help circulation and reduce bloating.

Because you’ve had blood pressure issues in the past, keep a routine check on it while taking these tonics. The herbs mentioned are generally safe, but regular monitoring is wise.

If you follow this plan, your strength, hydration, and energy should gradually return. In about three to four weeks you’ll notice better mood, stamina, and digestion.

All these together indicate that your body’s internal lubrication, strength and energy reserve are getting depleted- mostly due to aggravated vata dosha, weak digestion and depletion of nourishing body tissues

In Ayurveda, your health depends on the balance of three bio-energies -Vata= movement , nerve function, dryness -Pitta= metabolism, heat, digestion -Kapha= strength, lubricaion, stability

You have vata aggravation due to stress, irregular lifestyle, dryness , ejaculation , gas and weakened digestion

When vata increases, it dries the body internally- like dry leaves losing moisture. This causes -dryness in tisues -fatigue, lack of enthusiasm -weakness after intercourse -gas and irregular digestion -nervousness, mood swings

In simple terms- your body is losing its “oil and moisture balance”, and the nervous and tissues are not being properly nourished

3) CYAWANPRASHA= 1 tsp in morning with warm milk =builds Ojas and immunity , rejuvenates tissues, balances all doshas

4) BALA ATIBALA GHRITA= 1 tsp daily with warm milk for 45 days =excellet for dryness, weakness, and nervous debility

EXTERNAL TREATMENT

1) OIL MASSAGE -daily self massage with Bala taila -warm the oil slightly , massage gently from feet upward for 10-15 minutes, then bathe with warm water =lubricates tissues, reduces dryness, improves circulation , calms vata

2) MILD STEAM THERAPY -after oil massage sit in warm steam for 5-10 minutes to allow the oil to penetrate deep =relieves stiffness, promotes, detoxification

DIET -warm, moist, nourishing food- like khichdi, dal soups , rice with ghee, vegetables stews -ghee, milk, sesame oil, soaked almonds dates raisins= nourish tissue -sweet, sour, and salty tastes in moderation - reduce bitter, astringent -warm water or herbal teas- ginger, fennel, cardamom -include cow ghee daily 2 tsp/day

At the end of the day, my aim is to offer respectful, outcome-based care that lets patients walk out without shame or fear. That’s really what keeps me grounded in this field.

I am Dr. Anjali Sehrawat. Graduated BAMS from National College of Ayurveda & Hospital, Barwala (Hisar) in 2023—and right now I'm doing my residency, learning a lot everyday under senior clinicians who’ve been in the field way longer than me. It’s kind of intense but also really grounding. Like, it makes you pause before assuming anything about a patient. During my UG and clinical rotations, I got good hands-on exposure... not just in diagnosing through Ayurvedic nidan but also understanding where and when Allopathic tools (like lab reports or acute interventions) help fill the gap. I really believe that if you *actually* want to heal someone, you gotta see the whole picture—Ayurveda gives you that depth, but you also need to know when modern input is useful, right? I’m more interested in chronic & lifestyle disorders—stuff like metabolic imbalances, stress-linked issues, digestive problems that linger and slowly pull energy down. I don’t rush into giving churnas or kashayams just bcz the texts say so... I try to see what fits the patient’s prakriti, daily habits, emotional pattern etc. It’s not textbook-perfect every time, but that’s where the real skill grows I guess. I do a lot of thinking abt cause vs symptom—sometimes it's not the problem you see that actually needs solving first. What I care about most is making sure the treatment is safe, ethical, practical, and honest. No overpromising, no pushing meds that don’t fit. And I’m always reading or discussing sth—old Samhitas or recent journals, depends what the case demands. My goal really is to build a practice where people feel seen & understood, not just “managed.” That's where healing actually begins, right?
