Hi. Kindly avoid outside food and water as typhoid transmitted through contaminated water. Increase your gut health and immunity by basti karma in nearby Ayurvedic centre.

In Ayurveda, recurring typhoid may be viewed as a recurrent jwara (fever) due to weakened Agni (digestive fire) and Ama (toxins) accumulation. 1. Strengthen Digestion & Immunity *Trikatu churna (ginger, black pepper, long pepper): 1/4 tsp with honey before meals *Chyawanprash: 1 tsp daily with warm milk (boosts immunity) *Guduchi (Giloy): Acts like a natural antibiotic and immunity booster – 500 mg capsule or 2 tsp decoction twice daily 2. Detox and Ama-Pachana Arogyavardhini Vati: 2tab twice a day Avipattikar churna: 1sppon with luke warm water 2times a day Amrita satva - 2tab twice a day

Dr. Manjusha Vikrant Pate
With over 18 years of dedicated Ayurvedic practice, I have focused extensively on treating skin and hair disorders, integrating classical Panchakarma therapies with individualized care. A major aspect of my clinical approach involves Upakarma procedures—supportive therapies within Panchakarma—which I customize based on each patient’s Prakriti (constitutional type). I believe true healing begins when treatments are aligned with the body’s natural balance, and this philosophy guides every aspect of my work. My specialization includes the preparation and use of Ayurvedic formulations that I personally design, including face packs, hair packs, body oils, and facial oils—each one carefully selected and recommended according to the patient’s specific dosha and skin/hair condition. These formulations are result-oriented and rooted in time-tested Ayurvedic principles, ensuring safe, natural, and sustainable outcomes. In my practice, Ayurvedic facials are more than just cosmetic procedures; they are therapeutic treatments tailored to the unique constitution of each individual, aiming to restore inner and outer harmony. By incorporating dosha-based skincare routines and traditional beauty therapies, I help patients achieve visible improvement in conditions like pigmentation, acne, hair fall, and premature aging—without relying on chemical-based solutions. My goal is to blend classical Ayurveda with a practical, patient-focused approach. Whether managing chronic skin concerns, offering customized herbal solutions, or delivering rejuvenative Panchakarma therapies, I ensure each treatment is deeply personalized, holistic, and rooted in authentic Ayurvedic wisdom.

Typhoid recurrance can be frustrating, indeed. Ayurveda can provide some insights and remedies, though I must mention the importance of maintaining proper hygiene and food safety, which are key to preventing typhoid. Recurring typhoid could be due to exposure to the bacteria (Salmonella typhi) repeatedly or incomplete treatment. Ayurveda looks at strengthening your immune system and balance your doshas which may aid in prevention. Firstly, let's talk about your agni, or digestive fire. In Ayurveda, a weak agni can make you prone to infections. To improve this, try taking trikatu churna (a mix of ginger, black pepper, and long pepper) - 1/4 teaspoon with warm water, 30 mins before meals, twice daily. It'll help stimulate digestion and metabolism. Be cautious though, it might not be suitable if you have ulcers or sensitivity. Your doshic balance is also crucial. Typhoid can be associated with aggravated pitta dosha. Avoid pitta-aggravating food like spicy, fried, and overly sour items. Instead, include cooling foods like cucumber, cilantro, and bitter gourd. A daily drink of pomegranate juice can help too, as it's both nourishing and cooling. On the immunity front, strengthening the body's natural defense is vital. Chyawanprash, about a teaspoon every morning, can be a wonderful ally. It's a traditional herbal jam that supports immunity and rejuvenation. And guduchi (Tinospora cordifolia), known for its immune-boosting properties, can be taken as a supplement but follow the dosage as recommended by an Ayurvedic practitioner. Keep your stress in check with practices like yoga or pranayama, as stress can adversely affect your immunity. Regular exercise, good sleep, and a balanced routine further contribute to a healthy immune system. It's essential to consult a healthcare or ayurvedic professional before making any changes, ensuring that these approaches are right for you. Stay mindful of the surroundings, ensuring water and food are safe, as prevention of contamination is fundamental. If symptoms recur, consult a doctor. Ayurveda offers supportive measures, but medical supervision for prevention is equally important.
