When it comes to conceiving through Ayurveda, there are several considerations, especially with factors like low AMH, thyroid issues and age in mind. Ayurveda approaches this holistically, focusing on balancing the doshas and optimizing reproductive health. For someone in your situation, it might be beneficial to focus on vata dosha, which plays a significant role in reproductive health.

Firstly, let’s talk about diet. Emphasizing sAtvic foods can make a difference. Include nuts, seeds, whole grains, fresh fruits and vegetables into your diet. Warm, cooked preparations are favorable, as they support your digestive fire or ‘agni’. Steer away from too much caffeine, processed foods and heavy, oily dishes which can aggravate vata.

Abhyanga, self-massage with warm sesame oil, can be a soothing practice. It helps calm the vata dosha, promoting overall balance. Doing this in the morning before your shower can support your reproductive organs by increasing circulation and reducing stress levels.

Ensure a regular sleep cycle; going to bed by 10pm and waking up around 6am helps maintain hormonal cycles. Try some gentle yoga or pranayama daily to keep stress levels in check, as stress can be a factor in infertility issues.

Herbs like Ashwagandha and Shatavari are often recommended to support reproductive health. Shatavari is known for nourishing the female reproductive system. However, given your low AMH and thyroid condition, it’s crucial to discuss any herbal intake with a qualified Ayurvedic practitioner or healthcare professional to ensure it aligns with your current treatments.

The reduced period cycle you mentioned could indicate a vata imbalance that needs attention. Regular practices like meditation help calm the mind and maintain dosha equilibrium.

While an ayurvedic consultation is recommended for precise treatment, ensuring that its’ tailored to your prakriti and conditions, remember integrating Ayurvedic practice can take time for noticeable results, be patient with the process. Always communicate closely with all your healthcare providers to safely incorporate Ayurveda with current treatments.
