**Daily Massage your face with NALPAMARADI OIL. **Massage your face with few drops of kumkumadi tailam at bed time only… And for painful periods, 1.Sukumar kwath 20ml with equal amount of Lukewarm water empty stomach twice in a day. 2.Shatavari choorna 1tsf with lukewarm milk twice in a day.
Dark circles and pigmentation around the mouth could point to an imbalance in your doshas, possibly an excess of Pitta or a Kapha imbalance. Given your symptoms & lifestyle, here’s a detailed Ayurvedic approach you might find beneficial.
1. Diet plays a crucial role; try to eat a Pitta-pacifying diet focusing on cooling foods. Incorporate more fresh fruits like melons and berries, and vegetables like cucumbers and zucchini. Avoid spicy, sour or fried foods as they can aggravate Pitta.
2. Externally, apply a mixture of turmeric and honey around the darkened areas; leave it for 10-15 minutes before washing it off. Access Turmeric, a natural anti-inflammatory, can help lighten the skin while honey moisturizes. Try daily for best results, but be sure to test on a small area first.
3. For your painful periods, Asparagus racemosus (Shatavari) is highly recommend. Take it as per prescribed quantity on the bottle with warm milk or water, starting a week before your period. It supports women’s health and balances hormones.
4. Regularly perform Abhyanga (self-massage) using warm sesame or coconut oil. This improves circulation and helps release toxins. After massaging, take a warm bath. This should help reduce the itching around your nose and eyes.
5. Your water and sleep habits sound effective, keep those up. Consider reducing screen time before bed as it can affect both your sleep and skin health, the blue light can contribute to eye strain and dark circles.
6. Consider exploring yoga and pranayama (breathing exercises) to help in reducing stress which can exacerbate your symptoms. Anulom vilom & Bhramari could prove beneficial in calming nerves and promoting good sleep.
Remember consistency is the key - try these routines for at least a few weeks to observe changes. If symptoms persist or worsen, consulting with a local Ayurvedic physician is recommended for a more personalized treatment plan.
Dark circles and darkness around the mouth often point to underlying imbalances within the doshas — particularly vata and pitta — and might also hint at deficiencies or imbalances in your body’s metabolic processes, impactig agni or other factors.
Firstly, focus on supporting your digestion and overall metabolic fire (agni). Consider starting your day with a cup of warm water mixed with a small piece of ginger. This promotes a healthy digestive fire. Follow this with a diet that’s mostly warm, cooked, and easy to digest. Limit heavy, oily, spicy, and excessively processed foods.
In terms of local application, turmeric paste can provide benefits. Mix a pinch of turmeric with a few drops of honey and apply it gently to the affected areas. Leave for about 10 minutes before washing it off with lukewarm water. Make sure you’re not allergic to turmeric before applying it.
For the painful periods, which may indicate an imbalance in vata, it’s important to stay warm. Warm baths and a hot water bottle on your lower abdomen can provide relief. Consider taking yoga practices such as child’s pose, which can help ease the discomfort.
Allergies, like nose itching, may benefit from regular steam inhalation. Add a few drops of eucalyptus oil or tulsi leaves to improve sinus and respiratory health. Do this twice daily for better outcomes.
Lastly, maintaining regular sleep patterns is crucial. While you mention getting 8 hours of sleep, it can be important to ensure those hours are restful. If stress is affecting your sleep, consider adding brahmi or ashwagandha-infused tea to your routine, as they help balance vata at a systemic level.
If these issues persist or worsen, it may be advisable to consult directly with a qualified healthcare professional for precise evaluation.
