Vasu Zeal Plus Ayurvedic Lozonges - #33598

Hailey

I am really confused about this whole thing with Vasu Zeal Plus Ayurvedic Lozenges. I've been dealing with this annoying sore throat for a few weeks now, and a friend recommended these lozenges. She swears by them! I got the package last week and started taking them right away, thinking they would just fix everything, you know? But I’m not really sure if they’re working. Like, some days I feel a slight relief, but then it comes back — super frustrating! I looked up Vasu Zeal Plus Ayurvedic Lozenges online and saw lots of people raving about them, saying it’s all natural and stuff — but how come I’m still struggling? I’ve tried soothing teas and gargling salt water too, but nothing seems to kick my throat pain completely. I even had this weird scratchy feeling in the back of my throat that’s just not budging. Should I keep using the Vasu Zeal Plus Ayurvedic Lozenges or switch to something else? Are there specific things I should look out for or do while using them? I mean, I really want to get better but feel like I’m just wasting time and money here! Any advice would be amazing! Thanks!

Doctors' responses

It can be frustrating to deal with a persistent sore throat. Vasu Zeal Plus Ayurvedic Lozenges are intended to provide relief by using natural ingredients known in Ayurveda, such as ginger and mulethi, but results can vary greatly from person to person. If you’re not experiencing the relief you need, it’s important to evaluate any underlying causes that might be contributing to your symptoms.

Given that this has persisted for several weeks, consider whether any dietary or lifestyle factors might be exacerbating the issue. For instance, overconsumption of cold foods, drinks, or anything heavy, like fried items, can upset your kapha and lead to throat discomfort. Keep your intake of these things in check. Also, stay well-hydrated, sipping warm water throughout the day to keep your throat moist and as much as possible, phlegm-free.

Supplementing with Turmeric milk in the evenings can help soothe inflammations. Prepare a warm glass of milk with a half teaspoon of turmeric and a pinch of black pepper to aid absorption, and drink it before bedtime. Avoid consuming cold or very hot food items, and ensure your environment is humidified, especially in dry seasons or if you’re using heating.

Additionally, assess if stress could be causing tension or contributing to sinus congestion, which can manifest as throat issues, practicing some mindful breath exercises or light pranayama might assist in calming your system.

It’s also worth noting that sometimes, a bacterial infection or another underlying condition may be at play, especially if natural remedies aren’t providing relief. If you have observed no improvement or if symptoms worsen, it is wise to consult with a healthcare professional to rule out the possibility of bacterial infection or other underlying conditions. They can perform a throat culture and determine if any additional medical treatment, such as antibiotics, is necessary.

While relying on ayurvedic treatments, integrating these holistic practices might provide more balanced relief. If you’re still unsure, discontinue the lozenges and seek alternative Ayurvedic approaches or consult a certified Ayurvedic practitioner for a more personalized assessment.
