My ear drum ruptured couple years ago and had surgery; but the tinnitus won’t go away. How to fix the tinnitus?

Firstly, it is crucial to follow a vata-pacifiying diet and lifestyle. Make sure to consume warm, cooked, and slightly oily foods. Consider incorporating foods like cooked vegetables, rice, ghee, and whole grains into your diet, while avoiding raw, cold, or processed foods. These dietary changes help soothe vata, potentially easing your tinnitus symptoms.

Herbs can also be beneficial. Consider taking Ashwagandha, which helps in calming vata dosha. Another herb, Brahmi, may also support cognitive function and reduce stress, which could indirectly benefit tinnitus management. However, remember to consult with an Ayurvedic practitioner to determine the appropriate dosages for these herbs, especially if you’re on other medications.
