Understanding My Chronic RLS and Sensitivity to Treatments - #47243
Hello, I have had chronic RLS and also in my hands and arms for 5 years. I have tried the western medicines go t drugs, Mirapex, Gabapentin, and other derivatives. They all made me feel worse. I have also done acupuncture, homeopathic remedies and lastly ayurvedic. With all this natural remedies it started off great but then the symptoms became worse. The research that I have done says that some people have very sensitive bodies and this is what happens. Great at first then worse. The last remedies that I used had a lot of Ashwagandha in them and I was taking about 2500/ 3,000 a day from a qualified Auryrvedic Dr. I also have thyroid problems and have been taking Levothyroxine for 30+ years. I read that there can be interactions between these remedies. I have also read that some people's systems are more sensitive and that is why when they start a treatment it is helpful, but over a couple of months the symtoms become worse. I am hoping you might be able to clarify this for me. Many thanks. Dania
