Seeking Help for Dystonia and Mobility Issues - #50005

Client_dfe4bf

I have since April '21 abrupt discontinuation of my antipsychotics in hospital which has caused dystonias about 6 of them and tardive dyskinesia and atrophy and stiffness too with parkinsonism. I turn 60 in April and I have facial tightening in my peroneal ie lateral side of calf. Also metal rod like dystonia in my hamstrings with terrible atrophy in my quads. Mostly worried about peroneal and being able to walk the future. I am on the wrong antipsychotic with significant NS issues and the psychiatristrefuses to change my medicine. Please help, Denise I was a highly trained athlete as a gymnast from childhood into my 20s at university. The peroneal aren't easy to access esp with difficulties but still possible to put on socks, pants, underwear and shoes. I love to walk but I only do30min a day plus 2 hours of errands. In better weather I walk 2x30min a day. No long walks anymore. Thank you for your help, Denise I use to practice Traditional Chinese Medicine with Acupuncture, Tui Na massage and limited Herbal Medicine. I am in Toronto Canada so I have access to Ayurvedic Medicines and am familiar with the basics and understand the Vata imbalances. I have diabetes also from the use of antipsychotics which furthers dehydration and musculature problems. Thank you, Doctor
