I have 3b to 3c hair and I want my hair to grow at least 1.6 inches a month.I tried many hair recipes homage of course and that's when breakage came in.My hair is not as thick as it used to be and it is very very try and gets knotted very easy

Here’s what I see: - Vata is running the show—causing dryness, tangles, and breakage. - Pitta’s out of balance too—hello dandruff and thinning. - Too many DIY fixes can leave your scalp and hair feeling stripped and irritated.

AYURVEDIC UNDERSTANDING

One thing to clear up right away: Hair just doesn’t grow 1.6 inches a month, no matter what you try. Healthy hair grows about 0.4–0.6 inches each month. Ayurveda can’t change that, but it does help you hang onto the length you’ve got, so you see real progress.

EMERGENCY HAIR RESCUE (Stop the Damage)

For now, set these aside: - Onion juice, egg masks, lemon, or daily aloe - Constantly changing oils - Dry shampoo powders - Washing your curls too often

Thank you for explaining your hair situation so clearly I can understand your disappointment especially after trying many remedies and then seeing more breakage dryness and thinning That is very upsetting and very common with curly hair types like 3b to 3c

First I want to be very honest and kind with you Hair growing one point six inches every month is not physiologically possible for any hair type Hair growth happens from the scalp and the average maximum growth even in the healthiest person is about half inch per month What can be improved is length retention which means preventing breakage dryness and knots so that the hair you grow actually stays

In your case the main problem right now is not slow growth but severe dryness dandruff scalp irritation and protein moisture imbalance from trying too many recipes This makes curly hair brittle knot easily and snap which gives the feeling that hair is not growing

The priority for the next few weeks should be scalp healing moisture restoration and stopping breakage Thickness improves only after the scalp calms down

You can start the following internal medicines

Amla capsule five hundred mg twice daily after food

Bhringraj capsule five hundred mg twice daily after food

Biotin tablet five mg once daily after breakfast

Iron tonic only if already prescribed otherwise do not self start

For dandruff and scalp healing

Use a mild anti dandruff herbal shampoo twice weekly not more

Do not oil heavily If required apply very small quantity of light oil to scalp once weekly and wash off

After wash always use a gentle conditioner focusing only on hair length not scalp

Do not do DIY masks recipes protein packs or harsh natural powders for now Your hair needs rest not experiments

Detangle only when hair is damp and conditioned Use fingers first then wide tooth comb
