Your diarrhea and vomiting indicate acute pitta and vata aggravation in the digestive system causing ama formation and fluid imbalance since vomiting has stopped it shows some relief of upper digestive stress but persistent watery stools show that agni is still weak and intestines are irritated it is important to rest the digestive system and replenish lost fluids
Start with light easily digestible foods like moong dal khichdi cooked with ghee and a pinch of cumin avoid spicy oily and heavy foods avoid raw vegetables fruits except banana and stewed apple drink warm water in small sips coconut water or buttermilk with pinch of rock salt to prevent dehydration take godanti bhasma 125 mg twice daily with warm water after meals and punarnava mandur 1 tablet twice daily after meals to control loose motions and restore electrolyte balance use trikatu churna 1 gram with warm water before lunch and dinner to improve digestive fire and reduce ama formation if stools are very watery add isabgol husk half teaspoon in warm water once at night to bind stools but avoid overuse
Rest well avoid stress and avoid cold drinks ice cream and fried foods medicines should be continued for 3 to 5 days and diet should be light until stools normalize if diarrhea persists beyond 2 days or you develop high fever severe abdominal pain or dehydration consult a physician immediately

Hello I know continuous watery diarrhea and vomiting can leave you wiped out and pretty miserable. The good news? The vomiting’s stopped, so things are calming down a bit. But those loose motions still need to settle, and your gut needs a break. Don’t stress—you can get this under control.
YOUR SITUATION
- Since when: Watery diarrhea started yesterday morning - Other symptoms: Vomiting (but it’s stopped now), mild stomach pain - Trigger: Certain foods - Medicines taken: O2 tablet, BI Quinol - What’s going on now: Diarrhea just isn’t stopping
This points to acute gut irritation or infection—your digestion (Agni) is really out of whack.
AYURVEDIC PERSPECTIVE
In Ayurveda, this is called Atisara. - It usually happens when your digestive fire (Mandagni) is weak. - Both Pitta and Vata are involved: - Pitta brings on watery stools and irritation. - Vata causes frequent motions and that drained feeling.
What matters most right now: - Stopping the diarrhea - Protecting your digestion - Avoiding dehydration
IMPORTANT: WATCH FOR THESE SIGNS If you see any of these, get to a hospital right away: - Blood in your stools - Fever - Severe weakness or dizziness - Barely any urine
TREATMENT GOALS - Settle the loose motions - Soothe your gut lining - Gently restore digestion - Keep your fluids up
AYURVEDIC MEDICINES
1. Kutajghan Vati - 2 tablets, twice a day after food - This is one of the best for stopping watery diarrhea, especially when it’s from an infection.
2. Bilva Churna - ½ teaspoon, twice a day with warm water - Helps strengthen your intestines and cuts down stool frequency.
3. Dadimashtaka Churna - ½ teaspoon after meals, twice a day - Supports digestion after diarrhea and helps prevent it from coming back.
WHAT TO EAT (SUPER IMPORTANT) First 24–48 hours: - Thin rice gruel (kanji) with a little salt - Plain, well-cooked rice - Moong dal water (make it very thin) - Buttermilk (if it sits well with you): 1 cup, thinned out, with a pinch of roasted jeera powder
Avoid completely: - Milk and curd - Oily, spicy, or fried foods - Fruits - Raw veggies - Tea and coffee
DRINKS—DON’T SKIP THIS - Take small sips often. - Use ORS or make your own: 1 glass boiled and cooled water, a pinch of salt, a pinch of sugar.
REST & LIFESTYLE - Rest up. - Don’t travel. - Stay out of the cold. - Keep your belly warm.
Right now, your body needs gentle care. Skip the heavy foods and strong meds—your diet is the real medicine at this point. Stick to it, and you’ll bounce back.
Warm Regards Dr Snehal Vidhate

Stop O2 (Ofloxacin + Ornidazole) now if diarrhea continues, it can worsen gut flora imbalance & prolong loose motions.
Medicines (safe & quick-acting) 1 Loperamide – 2 mg after each loose motion (max 8 mg/day) 2 Racecadotril – 100 mg three times daily (reduces fluid loss without stopping motility) 3 Econorm / Sporlac – 1 sachet twice daily (rebuilds gut flora) 4 ORS – sip 200–300 ml after each loose motion (prevents dehydration)
Food Intake Allowed now: Plain boiled rice, moong dal water (very thin), banana (ripe), pomegranate, coconut water, apple (boiled/mashed), curd (if tolerated) Small frequent feeds – 5–6 times/day
Avoid completely (at least 5–7 days): milk, spicy/oily, raw fruits/veg, tea/coffee, sugar, outside food, gluten-heavy items
Daily Must-Do Rest completely Drink 3–4 L ORS + plain water (sip slowly) Warm water + pinch roasted jeera sip throughout day
If diarrhea >10 times/day, severe dehydration (dry mouth, no urine, dizziness), high fever, blood in stool then go to hospital immediately.
