Doctors' responses
Molluscum contagiosum is a viral skin infection that causes small, dome-shaped bumps. In the genital area, it spreads mainly through skin-to-skin contact and can persist for months if untreated. —Molluscum spreads easily—even to yourself. Do this: - Avoid shaving/waxing the area (this spreads lesions) - Keep the area clean and dry - Cover lesions if possible - Wash hands after touching - Use separate towels Avoid: - Picking/squeezing (this spreads it fast) - Sexual contact until lesions are gone (or use protection + avoid contact with lesions) -----------Torcheal may support general health, but it’s not a proven cure —Internal Medicines 1. Gandhak Rasayan Dose: 250 mg – 500 mg Frequency: Twice daily Anupan with Mahamanjishthadi Kwath Dose: 20 ml with equal amount of water 2) Aimil Lukol Dose: 2 tsp twice daily after meals 3) Aimil Neem Capsules Dose: 1 capsules twice daily after meal -----External Application (VERY important) Triphala kwath wash (gentle cleansing) daily twice a day and then apply neem lukol ointment ---- Avoid: Harsh application on genital mucosa Irritating pastes – Diet (Pathya-Apathya) -Eat: Neem, turmeric, giloy (if tolerated) Light, warm foods Green vegetables - Avoid: Dairy excess (especially curd) Sugar, bakery items Oily + fried foods Non-veg (temporarily if lesions active) — follow up after 21 days
