I have been suffering from severe lower back pain, and my doctor told me it might be due to disc degeneration or muscle weakness. I don’t want to rely on painkillers, so I started looking for alternative therapies. That’s when I came across Kati Vasti treatment, which is an Ayurvedic therapy for chronic back pain, sciatica, and spinal issues. From what I understand, Kati Vasti involves pouring warm herbal oil over the lower back and keeping it there for some time. But I am not sure how it works or whether it is effective for my condition. Does it just provide temporary relief, or does it actually heal the underlying issue? Also, how many sessions are needed for significant improvement? While it offers relief and can be quite immediate, it’s not purely palliative. What it essentially does is help balance the aggravated Vata dosha, which is often behind the pain and spasm you mentioned.
