It stays there for a period, like 30-45 minutes, letting the herbs and warmth seep into the tissues.

The warmth from the oil helps reduce muscle tension and stiffness by relaxing muscles and improving blood circulation. It’s like giving your back a warm, relaxing embrace. The oils themselves, often tailored to individual needs, might include dhanwantharam thailam or prapaundarikadi thailam, among others, which are known for their anti-inflammatory properties. This can help in soothing nerve pain as well.

As for sciatica, herniated discs, or degenerative issues, Kadi Vasthi could be beneficial. It’s not a magic bullet, but some people find relief, particularly from pain and muscle tightness.
