Painkillers help for a few hours, but I don’t want to rely on them forever. From what I understand, Ayurveda approaches pain differently—it focuses on balancing the doshas, reducing inflammation, and improving circulation rather than just blocking the pain signals like modern medicine does. But I’m not sure where to start. I’ve read that treatments like Panchakarma, Kizhi, Janu Basti, and Basti therapy are commonly used for pain management in Ayurveda, but which one is best for long-term relief? You got it right—Ayurveda is all about balancing the doshas and getting that prana flowing. With your symptoms, sounds like Vata dosha might be out of whack, causing that stiffness, soreness and tension. So, the trick is calming and soothing those Vata-driven pains.

About those treatments you mentioned: Panchakarma is like a total-body reset—it’s a series of cleansing therapies great for detoxifying (and can be intense!). It might take a while and involves commitment. If you’re looking for something less intense to start with, try Kizhi.
