To maintain joint health, Ayurveda focuses on reducing Vata dosha, which is responsible for dryness, stiffness, and degeneration in the joints. Ayurvedic remedies for joint pain include:

With age, Vata dosha tends to increase, contributing to joint dryness and stiffness. Keeping this in check is key!

First, diet is crucial. Foods like soaked almonds, sesame seeds, and warm, nourishing meals can pacify Vata. Avoid too many dry, cold foods. Hydrate well too! Ghee is also supportive for lubrication of joints. It’s mentioned often in texts like Charaka Samhita as a revered substance for ojas and lubrication.
