For the past year, I’ve been struggling with joint pain that seems to come and go. Some days, my knees feel stiff, other days my fingers feel sore. I thought it was just from sitting too much, but it’s getting worse. Now, even getting out of bed in the morning feels like my joints are locked up. I went to the doctor, and they did some tests, but nothing serious showed up. They said it could be mild arthritis or just general inflammation, but they didn’t give me a clear answer. I want to understand what’s causing this. Could food, stress, or lifestyle be affecting my joints? I started looking into Ayurveda because I don’t want to rely on painkillers. Are there specific Ayurvedic treatments for different joint pain causes? I read that certain body types are more prone to joint issues—does that mean I have a dosha imbalance? Also, are there specific foods I should avoid? I heard that some people react badly to dairy or nightshade vegetables. Could my diet be making my joints worse? In Ayurveda, joint pain can be caused by an imbalance in the Vata dosha, which governs movement and is responsible for the fluidity of joints. Vata imbalance can lead to dryness, stiffness, and pain in the joints, especially when there is a lack of lubrication or if there is excess heat or toxins (Ama) in the body.
