After a sports injury a few months ago, I was diagnosed with myositis ossificans in my elbow. The pain and stiffness have been hard to deal with, and physical therapy hasn’t helped much. I’m looking for alternative treatments and came across Ayurveda. Does anyone know if there are Ayurvedic treatments for myositis ossificans elbow? I’ve read that Ayurvedic oils and herbal medicines can reduce inflammation and pain in such conditions. Are there specific therapies or formulations that work well for myositis ossificans elbow? Would Panchakarma therapies, like Abhyanga or Pizhichil, be beneficial for this? Another concern I have is whether diet plays a role in managing myositis ossificans elbow.
