Kindly guide regarding body pain in muscles and joints my age is 37 female no relevant medical conditions not taking any medicine for regular basis but body pain is prominent. More pain during climbing and waking up during morning

The body pain in muscles and joints you’re experiencing could be sign of Vata dosha imbalance, as Vata governs all movement in the body. Typically, Vata accumulation occurs due to irregular lifestyle, inadequate sleep, exposure to cold, and irregular meal times. To tackle this imbalance, consider focusing on a Vata-pacifying regimen.

Incorporate warm, grounding, and nourishing foods into your diet. Opt for cooked vegetables, warm soups, and stews. Favor root vegetables like carrots and sweet potatoes, grains like rice and quinoa, and include healthy fats such as ghee and oils. Avoid raw salads, cold foods and beverages which can aggravate Vata. Incorporate spices like cumin, fennel, and ginger to aid digestion and balance Vata.

Self-massage with warm sesame oil can be particularly beneficial. This practice, known as Abhyanga, can help soothe muscles and joints, improving circulation and calming Vata. Try to apply sesame oil daily, before bath or shower, for about 15-20 minutes.

Regular, gentle exercise is crucial. Engage in activities that are warming, yet not overly exerting. Yoga, Tai Chi, or gentle stretching could be effective in maintaining joint flexibility and minimizing pain. Remember moderation is key—avoid pushing beyond your comfort level.

Ensure you have a routine that allows for adequate rest. Ideally, establish a regular sleeping pattern, going to bed and waking up at the same time daily. Early bedtimes (around 10 PM) can support Vata balance, aiding a deeper, more restorative sleep.

Consider herbal teas like chamomile or ginger tea which can help soothe the nervous system and promote relaxation. Be cautious, if pains persist or worsen, a consultation with a integrated medicine expert might be necessary to rule out anything serious.
