In addition, Ashwagandha powder, about 1 teaspoon mixed with warm milk, once daily might help by nourishing the tissues and reducing inflammation.

Sciatica Pain: Here, the goal is again to soothe aggravated Vata. A herbal decoction made from Dashmool (a traditional Ayurvedic formula) is beneficial. You can prepare a tea by boiling about 1 teaspoon of Dashmool powder in a cup of water until it reduces to half, and consuming it twice a day.
