Can you please tell me what to use for lower back pain Thank you. Dr call it wear and tear sorry I don’t know medical name for this. I have this Pain every day

Lower back pain, commonly due to ‘wear and tear’, may be related to degenerative disc disease or osteoarthritis. In Ayurveda, this could indicate a vata imbalance, often characterized by dryness and degeneration. Focus on sustaining balance through daily practices. Mornings are ideal for gentle stretching exercises. Yoga asanas like Bhujangasana (Cobra Pose), Ardha Matsyendrasana (Half Spinal Twist), and Supta Matsyendrasana (Supine Spinal Twist) can help improve flexibility and relieve tension. Always perform these under guidance or after learning correct postures.

For herbal remedies, consider applying Mahanarayana Tailam, a traditional Ayurvedic oil known to alleviate vata-related pain. Warm the oil slightly and massage it onto the lower back area, leave it for 30 minutes before washing off. Do this daily for better results.

Diet is equally crucial; include warming, nourishing, vata-pacifying foods in your diet. Warm cooked foods, soups, and stews can be beneficial.
