Can I use Pain Niwaran Churna for my leg and hip pain? - #52284

II have pain in the legs and hips. It feels like arthritis and sciatica. The arthritis is not continous. The sciatica pain is. I have been rubbing oils.Is it okay to take pain niwaran churna for arthritic and sciatica pain.

Hello, It is good that you are already applying the oils. pain Nivaran Churn can be used(one pouch in the morning and one pouch in the evening after breakfast and after dinner for 30 days.). But it may not be enough. Please add the following for effective management: 1. Ranairandadi kashayam 10ml----0----10ml + 2. Sahacharadi kashayam 10ml----0-----10ml + 3. Yogaraja Guggulu 2-----0------2 + 80ml of boiled cooled water one hour before breakfast and one hour before dinner. For 90 days. 4. Murivenna + 5. Karpuradi thaialm To be made luke-warm and applied over the from the lower back till the feet; left for an hour before taking hot to warm water shower. once a day. Diet- 1. Avoid tamarind, brinjal, spicy food when you are on internal medicines. 2. Avoid meat for 90 days. 3. Drink at-least 2 liters of boiled warm water throughout the day. Lifestyle- 1. Start taking physiotherapy/Sciatica+arthritic specific yogasanas Take care, Kind regards.

You can take pain niwaran churna, but: It is only for temporary pain relief It won’t address the root cause (nerve compression + vata imbalance) Long-term dependence is not advisable Take 1)sahacharadi kashayam – 15 ml + warm water, twice daily before food (best for sciatica, lower limb pain) 2)yogaraja guggulu – 1 tab twice daily after food (for arthritis + vata balancing) 3) dashmoolarishtam – 15 ml after meals with equal water (reduces inflammation + nerve pain)

The focus should be on reducing pain, improving joint lubrication, and supporting nerve function. Pain Niwaran Churna is generally used for pain relief, but it may not be sufficient alone for chronic conditions like sciatica and arthritis. It can be taken for short-term support, but long-term management needs a more structured approach. Avoid exposure to cold, damp weather. Do not sit for long periods or on hard surfaces. Gentle stretching and regular movement are important. Include warm, freshly cooked food with a little ghee and avoid dry, cold, and processed foods. Ayurvedic medicines with dose and timing: Yogaraja Guggulu – 1 tablet, twice daily after food Mahayogaraja Guggulu – 1 tablet, twice daily after food Dashmoolarishta – 15 ml with equal water, twice daily after food External application: Continue oil application – Mahanarayana Taila or Sahacharadi Taila over lower back and legs, followed by mild heat These are traditionally used to reduce pain, improve mobility, and support nerve health when combined with proper care. Pain Niwaran Churna can be used occasionally, but relying only on it may not give long-term relief. With consistent care, improvement can be seen gradually over a few weeks.
