In Ayurveda, we always look at the root cause and your overall prakriti (constitution) before making recommendations. But remember, in cases of severe ligament tears, especially complete ruptures, modern surgical interventions like ACL reconstruction could sometimes be the best course for functional recovery.

Ayurveda can, however, support healing and strengthen the body alongside or in less severe cases. Specific therapies like Panchakarma can help, especially if there’s inflammation. Something like Pinda Sweda (an herbal poultice fomentation) or Janu Basti (a targeted knee oil therapy) might be recommended.
