My clinical practice blends time-tested Ayurvedic wisdom with modern therapeutic approaches to offer personalized, results-driven care. My clinic is designed as a peaceful, healing space — a reflection of my belief that recovery begins in a calm, nurturing environment. I start each day with yoga and meditation, practices that help me stay grounded and attentive to every patient I see. I believe that effective treatment must go beyond physical symptoms, so my consultations involve a comprehensive assessment of emotional, mental, and lifestyle factors that influence health. I take a multi-disciplinary approach, often working closely with nutritionists, yoga practitioners, and wellness experts to build customized treatment plans. These may include herbal formulations, detox therapies like Panchakarma, dietary guidance, and lifestyle modifications tailored to each patient’s constitution or dosha. My work has helped patients manage and often reverse chronic conditions such as arthritis, gastrointestinal imbalances, skin disorders, metabolic issues, and stress-induced ailments. I’m deeply committed to educating my patients—not just about their current condition, but about how to maintain balance and long-term health through Ayurvedic principles. What sets my practice apart is my empathetic, patient-first approach. I’ve built strong, lasting relationships within the community, and I frequently conduct workshops on preventive care, Ayurvedic nutrition, seasonal wellness routines, and stress management. To me, Ayurveda is more than a profession—it’s a lifelong journey of growth, healing, and connection. My goal is to empower every patient to take charge of their health through awareness, discipline, and natural care.

Dealing with persistent heartburn or acid reflux can be quite troublesome, especially when specific food triggers are known. From an Ayurvedic perspective, this condition often relates to an imbalance in the Pitta dosha. Pitta governs the digestive fire, and an excess can lead to hyperacidity or excess production of gastric acids. To address this at its root, start by minimizing or avoiding foods and drink that aggravate Pitta, such as sodas, citrus fruits like lemons and oranges, and spicy, oily, or fried foods. Consume more cooling, calming foods: you can include cucumber, melons, sweet fruits like ripe bananas, and soaked almonds in your diet. These tend to pacify Pitta and balance the acid levels. In Ayurveda, maintaining a strong, balanced 'Agni' or digestive fire is crucial. Begin your day with a glass of warm water mixed with a teaspoon of honey and a splash of lemon juice; despite being a citrus, in moderation, it can aid digestion without provoking Pitta too much. Consider including a small piece of jaggery after meals which can help manage acidity. For direct relief from heartburn, drinking a mixture of 1/4 teaspoon of licorice powder in warm water may offer some comfort as well. Licorice has soothing properties that mitigate irritation inside the stomach lining. Eating habits also play a vital role. Eat smaller meals at regular intervals, instead of fewer large meals. Avoid lying down immediately after eating — wait for at least 2-3 hours, and consider elevating your head while sleeping to prevent acid from climbing back up. It’s important to acknowledge the influence of stress - Engaging in stress-reducing activities like yoga or meditation helps in managing Pitta and indirectly alleviates symptoms of heartburn. Breathe deeply a few minutes a day to calm your nervous system. While these steps can support your condition in the long run, if heartburn remains persistent, it’s advisable to seek professional consultation. Continual use of medications like Omeprazole without proper guidance should be cautious, as prolonged use may mask underlying issues. Balancing lifestyle, diet, and employing natural remedies will often yield sustained relief when applied consistently. Stay attuned to how your body responds and adjust as needed.
