charu

I am 39 years old , having irregular periods from last 3-4 years.Last year in june did sonography and endometrial thickness was 19.2 mm uterus size 8.9cm , So went through laparoscopic hysterectomy D&C. After that i was on hormonal pills till December so periods were regular. Last period came on 19.3.25 after 2 month and haven't stopped bleeding so was advised to go for sonography again and endometrial thickness is 13.4mm with uterus size 9.2x 4.3x5.6cm , bulky uterus with hyperchonic patches in the myometrium. Doctor advised me to go for either uterus removal or merina insertion. Kindly guide if any treatment available with Ayurveda to cure this. Kindly give genuine advice or any sure treatment available. Thank You

Ma’am I had Laproscopic D&C

Laparoscopic D&C is not possible, But laparoscopy and D & C can be done together, you might have confused, see if discharge summary is aviliable, you may get clearance. D& C is dilatation abd currettage which doesn’t require any incision And laparoscopy they make small 3 holes and with the help of monitor they see your internal organs

Dealing with adenomycis and uterine irregularities can be challenging, and it’s important to consider all treatment options that align with your health philosophy. While modern medicine offers options like hysterectomy and devices like the Mirena, Ayurveda presents a distinct perspective focusing on the root cause, balance of doshas, and maintaining healthy tissues and cycles.

In Ayurveda, adenomycis might be seen through the lens of a kapha and vata imbalance, leading to stagnation and irregularities in the uterine tissue. The treatment approach would aim at balancing these doshas, enhancing digestive fire (agni), and supporting the female reproductive system.

A key aspect would be dietary adjustments. Consuming a kapha-pacifying diet by reducing heavy, oily, and cold foods can be beneficial. Opt for warm, light, and easily digestible meals like soups and stews. Spices like turmeric, ginger, and cumin may promote balance and health. Include fiber-rich foods to help regulate hormones and support digestion.

Specific herbs might be of use, like Ashoka (Saraca indica) and Lodhra (Symplocos racemosa), traditionally used to maintain menstrual balance and uterine health. Ashoka can be taken as a powder, around 1-3 grams twice daily mixed with warm water.

Daily lifestyle adjustments such as yoga and pranayama can support relaxation, improve blood circulation, and harmonize hormonal activity. Focus on gentle asanas, like Supta Baddha Konasana (Reclined Bound Angle Pose), to encourage the downward flow of energy.

Panchakarma, particularly virechana (therapeutic purgation), might be recommended under professional supervision to allow for deeper detoxification and balance. Abhyanga (self-massage with medicinal oils), using sesame or warm coconut oil, can also add to your regime.

It’s essential, however, to see an experienced Ayurvedic practitioner to craft a treatment plan specifically tailored to you. While Ayurveda offers holistic approaches, severe cases might require an integrative approach with conventional treatments for best results. Always prioritize professional guidance and immediate care when needed.
