Dr. Mohini Raut (Datey)
I have been practicing as an Ayurvedic physician in Dhanori, Pune for the past four years, offering holistic and individualized care rooted in classical Ayurvedic principles. My approach combines time-tested therapies with modern insights, ensuring that each treatment plan is customized to suit the patient's unique prakriti (constitution), lifestyle, and health goals. Whether managing chronic disorders or addressing everyday ailments, my focus is always on treating the root cause rather than just suppressing symptoms. Over the years, I’ve developed experience in managing common lifestyle disorders such as digestive disturbances, menstrual irregularities, joint pain, skin problems, stress, and metabolic imbalances. I believe in a complete healing process, which includes not only herbal medicines but also dietary guidance, seasonal detox therapies (Panchakarma), and sustainable daily routines (dinacharya) tailored to each patient. Patient trust and long-term wellness are at the core of my practice. I take time to understand my patients’ concerns in depth and educate them about the Ayurvedic view of their condition so they feel empowered throughout their healing journey. As an Ayurveda practitioner, I’m committed to upholding the integrity of classical treatments while making them accessible, practical, and relevant in today’s fast-paced lifestyle. Through my clinic, I continue to serve individuals and families in the Dhanori region with a strong emphasis on preventive care, disease reversal, and natural healing. My ultimate goal is to restore balance and vitality in the most natural and compassionate way possible.

Your symptoms indicate an imbalance in the digestive system, which, in Ayurvedic terms, can often be attributed to an imbalance in the Vata and Pitta doshas. Addressing these imbalances through diet, lifestyle adjustments, and specific remedies can provide relief. First, focus on enhancing your digestive fire, or agni, which is essential for proper digestion. Begin by sipping warm water throughout the day. This helps to stimulate digestion and hydrate your system. After meals, chewing on a small piece of ginger, with a pinch of salt, can also kindle agni and alleviate bloating. Pay attention to your diet. Avoid foods that are too spicy, oily, or heavy, as they can aggravate Pitta and slow down digestion. Instead, opt for light, cooked foods that are easy to digest, such as steamed vegetables, rice, and soups. Eating smaller, more frequent meals can help prevent the feeling of heaviness after eating. Include spices like cumin, coriander, and fennel in your meals as they can aid digestion and reduce bloating. These can be added while cooking or in the form of an herbal tea by steeping them in hot water and sipping it warm. Lifestyle changes are equally important. Avoid skipping meals, and try to eat at regular times each day. Regular mild exercise, like walking, can help with digestion and should be incorporated into your daily routine. Practicing deep breathing or meditation can also reduce stress, which is often a contributing factor to digestive issues. Triphala, a revered Ayurvedic formulation, is beneficial for improving digestion and alleviating constipation. Take it at bedtime with warm water, one teaspoon should be enough. If the burning sensation persists, consider adding aloe vera juice to your regimen, taking a small glass in the morning on an empty stomach, as it is cooling and soothing for Pitta. If your symptoms do not improve, it would be prudent to consult with a healthcare professional for a more in-depth evaluation. This response is not a substitute for professional medical advice but a starting guide rooted in Ayurvedic wisdom.
