Chitraki Haritaki Leham can be quite effective for addressing symptoms like a running nose. However, it’s important not to rely on any single formulation for too extended period without reassessment. You’ve already seen around 80% improvement, which is promising. Yet, three months is a reasonable duration for continuous use of this leham. Extending it for up to another 2 months could be appropriate if the improvement continues, but it’s essential to monitor your symptoms closely.
The combination of Chitrak and Haritaki in the leham primarily targets Kapha dosha imbalances which are often responsible for excessive mucus production and thus a running nose. Nevertheless, prolonged use should be combined with other lifestyle and dietary modifications to support overall balance. Ensure your diet is light, warm, and Kapha-pacifying (favoring spices like ginger, black pepper, and avoiding cold and heavy foods).
Evaluate your daily routines; practices such as steam inhalation or using a neti pot can offer further relief. Maintaining a regular exercise routine is also beneficial to stimulate your agni, helping to process mucus more efficiently.
