Since this is genetic, we must stop the cysts from growing. Lack of sleep is your biggest enemy; it increases Vata which accelerates kidney damage.

Medicines 1 Varanadi Kashayam (Tablet): 2 tablets twice daily with warm water (before food). 2 Punarnava Mandoor: 2 tablets twice daily (after food). 3 Bhumyamalaki Churna: 1 teaspoon with warm water twice daily. 4 Triphala Churna: 1 teaspoon with warm water at bedtime. 5 Syp Liv 52 DS 1tsp-0-1tsp after food Dietary & Lifestyle Advice You must sleep by 10:00 PM. Late nights directly damage kidney tissue. Diet: Low Salt: Essential to prevent fluid retention.

Avoid: Curd (Yogurt), Pickles, and heavy beans (Rajma). Eat light Moong Dal instead. Drink only warm water to aid digestion.

Hello I‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ really get your point. It is extremely difficult to imagine what you go through with hereditary PKD affecting both kidneys plus liver hypertrophy and chronic digestive issues, however, with a cautious, kidney-friendly Ayurvedic treatment, the disease can be contained, digestion can get better, and the overall quality of life can get quite high again.

YOUR CONCERN

You suffer from: - Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD) – hereditary, both kidneys - Liver enlargement - Long-standing chronic digestive problems Trigger: Sleep deprivation Age: 41 years Diet: Mainly vegetarian

AYURVEDIC UNDERSTANDING

From the point of Ayurveda, such a disease is characterized by: Kapha–Vata imbalance leading to cyst formation Medo-dushti & Srotorodha (blockage in micro-channels) Yakrit (liver) and Mutravaha srotas involvement Weak Agni (digestive fire) worsening toxin (Ama) accumulation

Goal of treatment: – Protect kidney function – Reduce liver congestion –Improve digestion & metabolism – Prevent cyst progression – Improve strength and vitality safely

AYURVEDIC TREATMENT PLAN (Kidney-safe, non-toxic medicine – avoid heavy metals)

INTERNAL MEDICATION

1. Punarnava Mandur – 1 tablet two times daily after meal → Helps in reducing fluid retention, rejuvenates kidneys & liver

2. Varunadi Kashayam 15 ml + an equal amount of warm water two times daily before food → Best medicine for cystic kidney disorders

3. Guduchi Churna – ½ tsp once daily with warm water → An Immunomodulator, a liver & kidney protector

4. Bhumi Amla Churna ½ tsp once daily after lunch → Relieves liver enlargement, promotes bile flow

5. Avipattikar Churna ½ tsp at bedtime with warm water → Heals chronic indigestion, acidity, and flatulence

The period of treatment: At least 6 months with periodic check-up

DIETARY GUIDELINES (VERY IMPORTANT)

✅ INCLUDE

Easy-to-digest, warm, freshly cooked food Snake gourd, ridge gourd, pumpkin Rice gruel, moong dal, vegetable soups Coriander, cumin, fennel for cooking Enough hydration (small sips, not more than required)

❌ STRICTLY AVOID

Excess salt Packaged & processed food Extremely spicy and oily food Paneer, cheese, and curd at night Carbonated drinks & refined sugar

LIFESTYLE CHANGES

Sleep before 10:30 pm (very important for liver healing) Do not wake up at night Take gentle walk or do yoga regularly Do not take heavy exercise, weight lifting Do not use painkillers unnecessarily Practice Anulom Vilom & Pranayama daily

YOGA BENEFICIAL (GENTLE ONLY)

Pawanmuktasana Vajrasana after meals Shavasana Pranayama (no forceful breathing)

INVESTIGATIONS TO MONITOR REGULARLY

Serum Creatinine & eGFR LFT (Liver function ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌test) Ultrasound of abdomen+ pelvis BP monitoring

For managing PKD (Polycystic Kidney Disease) and associated liver enlargement through Ayurveda, focusing on Pitta and Kapha dosha balance might be beneficial. Begin with herbal formulations like Punarnavadi guggulu and Gokshuradi guggulu, known for their kidney-supporting properties. Take each 1 tablet twice daily after meals with warm water. However, these must be taken under the guidance of a qualified practitioner due to variability in individual responses and conditions.

You may also consider using Chooranam like Varunadi Kashayam, a decoction that can support kidney function. Prepare by boiling 1 tsp in 2 cups water until reduced to half and consume it in two divided doses on an empty stomach. Again, ensure this is supervised by an Ayurvedic doctor.

Adjusting your diet is crucial. Favor warm, cooked, and easily digestible foods. Incorporate more dishes with astringent and bitter tastes, such as leafy greens, carrots, and turmeric. Limit salt, spicy, and oily foods to prevent aggravation of Pitta and Kapha. Drink water boiled with jeera and dhania seeds, about 1 tsp each per liter, to aid digestion and detoxification.

Lifestyle-wise, prioritize regularity in meals and timing of sleep to balance your doshas. Gentle exercise, like yoga or walking for 30 mins daily, can enhance circulation and support organ functions. Pranayama techniques such as Anulom Vilom and Kapalbhati can help to detoxify the body’s systems and improve overall energy.

For chronic digestion issues, Triphala churna is a valuable remedy. Take 1 tsp mixed in warm water before bed to promote digestive health and assist waste elimination.

Please remember, these should compliment ongoing medical treatment and any adjustments should be made under close supervision of healthcare providers. Missing precise diagnoses can counteract well-intentioned efforts. Consulting an experienced Ayurvedic doctor will ensure that your plan is both safe and tailored to your specific health challenges.

HELLO,

NOTE= PKD isa genetic condition. Ayurveda focuses on sowing progression, reducing symptoms , improving digestion, and supporting kidney-liver function, not cure.

AYURVEDIC VIEW -PKD-> beeja dosha (genetic) + kapha-vata dushti -Liver enlargement-> yakrit vriddhi (kapha-pitta imbalance) -Chronic digestion problem -> mandagni, ama formation -Lack of sleep aggravates vata, worsening digestion and organstress

INTERNAL MEDICATIONS

FOR KIDNEY SUPPORT

1) PUNARNAVA MANDUR= 2 tabs twice daily after meals

2) VARUNADI KASHAYA= 20 ml + equal water twice daily before meals

3) CHANDRAPRABHA VATI= 2 tabs twice daily after meals

FOR LIVER ENLARGEMENT

4) AROGYAVARDHINI VATI= 1 tab twice daily after meals

5) KALMEGHA STRONG= 1 tsp twice daily after meals

FOR DIGESTION AND AMA

6) HINGWASTAKA CHURNA= 1/2 tsp with ghee before meals

7) TRIPHALA CHURNA= 1 tsp at night with warm water

DIET -lightly, freshly cooked vegetarian food -rice, wheat, barley, moong dal -bottle gourd, ridge gourd, pumpkin, ash gourd -buttermilk daytime only -warm water sip through day

AVOID -excess salt, pickles, papad -very spicy, fried, bakery foods -excess protein supplements -curd at night -packaged and fermented foods

LIFESTYLE -Sleep= fixed timing, 7-8 hours, key trigger in your case -Exercise= gentle walking, light yoga -Avoid= overexertion, stress, late nights

HELPFUL YOGA AND PRANAYAM -pawanmuktasana -bhujangasana -vajrasana after meals -anulom vilom -bhramari pranayam

IMPORTANT PRECAUTIONS -regular kidney function tests (RFT, USG) -Avoid self medication and heavy metal formultations -Adequate hydration, but not excessive

Correctt digestion, reduce ama, balance kaphavata, protect kidneys and liver gently, and prioritise sleep

DO FOLLOW

HOPE THIS MIGHT BE HELPFUL

THANK YOU
