after a 3-4 days of cold- cough during which home remedies were tried this resulted into coughing fits, what should be the treatment to get relief?

Diagnosis (Ayurvedic): Kasa (Cough) – Post-viral, Vata-Kapha type
Prescription:
Sitopaladi Churna Dose: 3 g (1 teaspoon) Route: Oral Method: Mix with 1 teaspoon honey or warm milk Frequency: Twice daily after meals
Tulsi + Honey Dose: 2–3 fresh Tulsi leaves crushed + 1 teaspoon honey Route: Oral Method: Chew slowly or swallow Frequency: 2–3 times daily
Ginger + Black Pepper Decoction Ingredients: Fresh ginger 1 inch, black pepper 3–4 crushed, water 1 cup Method: Boil 5–7 minutes, strain, drink warm Frequency: Twice daily
Additional Advice: Drink warm water frequently Avoid cold drinks, ice, and fried/heavy food Steam inhalation with tulsi/eucalyptus once daily Rest adequately
Follow-up: In 5–7 days or sooner if symptoms worsen (productive cough, fever, chest pain, breathlessness)
