Doctors' responses
- Chronic Pitta aggravation: Your long-term fasting weakened your digestive fire (Agni). This caused unformed stools, acidity, acne, and dizziness—classic Pitta imbalance. - Vata aggravation due to cold: When you went to cold Kashmir, the cold and dryness triggered Vata, leading to watery stools, feeling very cold, dry skin, and hunger. - Dual imbalance: Now, Vata is dominant externally (cold, dryness, weak digestion), while Pitta remains internally aggravated (acidity, acne). This makes the system unstable: medicines that only target Pitta (bitter, cooling) now dry out Vata and worsen cold/wasting symptoms. So : Your digestion is weak, Vata is high, and Pitta is still active—so treatment must nourish and warm Vata first while gently calming Pitta - Diagnosis : Vata–Pitta Samroga; Agni Mandya; Twak Dhatu Dushti - Treatment Plan: 1)Hingvastak Churna – ¼ tsp, before lunch & dinner, with warm water or ghee. Indication: Bloating, watery stools, digestion support. 2)Dadimashtaka Churna – ½ tsp, after meals, with warm water. Indication: Strengthens digestion, balances Pitta & Vata, prevents loose motions. 3)Shatavari Ghrita – 1 tsp, morning on empty stomach, with warm water. Indication: Vata pacifying, mildly cooling for Pitta, nourishes skin & digestion. 4)Bilva Avaleha – 1 tsp, after lunch, with warm water. Indication: Chronic loose stools, supports Agni, pacifies Vata-Pitta. 5)Avipattikar Churna (optional, if acidity severe) – ½ tsp at bedtime, with warm water. Note: Use maximum 2–3 weeks only. - Dietary Advice: Eat warm, cooked, soft, slightly oily foods: rice, moong dal, ghee, stewed apples, pomegranate. Buttermilk (thin, spiced with roasted cumin) at lunch. Avoid cold foods, raw salads, spicy, sour, fermented, bakery items. - Lifestyle Advice: Warm oil massage (Abhyanga) with sesame oil 3–4 times/week. Keep abdomen & feet warm. Eat at fixed times; avoid skipping meals. Gentle walking; avoid cold exposure. - Follow-Up: 1 week: Check stool consistency, appetite, acidity. 3–4 weeks: Evaluate skin, cold intolerance, dizziness.
