Dry Cough That Worsens at Night - #49263

My husband has dry cough since 3 days and It becomes worse in night and he Is not able to sleep. Cough is dry. I have given ginger and honey but there is still no improvement.

- Provisional Dx: Vataja Kasa / Shushka Kasa - Rx: Sitopaladi Churna – ½ tsp with honey – BD after food Yashtimadhu Churna – ½ tsp with warm water – BD Kantakari Avaleha – 1 tsp – HS (at bedtime) Trikatu Churna – ¼ tsp with honey – OD after dinner - Pathya (Advice): Warm fluids only Avoid cold air, cold food, curd, fried/spicy food Steam inhalation at night Sleep with head elevated - Review: After 5–7 days or earlier if symptoms worsen
