Macular amyloidosis is a chronic skin condition where amyloid protein gets deposited in the skin. It commonly affects: Back of the neck Upper back Arms and hands It often spreads slowly over time, especially if the skin is repeatedly irritated (friction, scratching, harsh scrubs). -See a dermatologist in personal consultation offline Because: The patches are spreading You’ve had it for more than 6 months There is discomfort/itching
