Amla powder is traditionally used to support eye health due to its antioxidant and cooling properties, but it should be seen as supportive care — not a replacement for medical treatment in ocular hypertension. A common way is 1/2–1 teaspoon amla powder once daily with warm water or after meals, depending on digestion. Some people also take it with honey or ghee if suitable. Other supportive options for eye health may include Triphala (internal use in suitable cases), proper sleep, reducing prolonged screen strain, regular blinking breaks, and maintaining good digestion. Since ocular hypertension and vision changes need careful monitoring to protect eye pressure and optic nerve health, it is important to consult for a personalized plan and continue regular eye checkups rather than relying only on home remedies.

Hi,for ocular hyper tension taking amala alone won’t be very beneficial. Triphala choorna can be used as eye wash and seka. That is netra dhara. Boil 20 gm triphala choorna in 100 ml water and using this water to gently pour over eyes repeatedly atleast 5 times each in both eyes. U can also use an eye wash cup. Another way to reduce eye pressure is to use bidalaka. Mix triphala choorna kachooradi choorna punarnava choorna and karuthavatt in equal amounts around eyes and forehead after making it a paste. Give very little pressure to your eyes. Use a cooling glass al the time to reduce eye strain. Sleep well. Take * punarnadi kashayam 15 ml twice daily before food mixed with 60 ml luke warm water *Chandraprabha vati 1 tab twice daily round after food * Draksharishtam 30 ml twice daily after food. These medicines and procedures will help reduce your eye pressure and it’s associated symptoms
Best way is take Triphla churan 1 chamch daily at night For 20 days
Instead of using amla powder better to use triphala powder, Keep it soaked overnight in water then filter it using cotton cloth and wash your eyes in the morning. Take triphala churna 5gm with honey before bed.
