Preventing Recurrence of Macular Holes - #49925

I have had macular holes in both eyes in my late forties and early fifties. I have had successful operations abd recently have been told I have this again. I am on a waiting list to have an operation. How do I prevent macular hole and what is the cure/prevention methods if you do have it? Thanks.
