Hello, although very distressing gastric discomfort and constipation can be resolved very well if you are focused. Do you pass bowel every day? Is it sticky or hard? Do you have any burning sensation in stomach or belching? Associated dizziness, headaches or stuffed feeling in chest? The medicines defer in both situations If you are having gastric discomfort, bloating,hardstools , pass motion every day, your appetite is moderate You should follow Dhanwantaram gulika 2 tablet thrice daily atleast 2 hour before food Gandharvahastadi kashaya 15 ml twice daily before food mixed with 60 ml luke warm water ( if you are on a higher BMI level take 20 ml ) Hinguvachadi choorna 3gm thrice with ghee 1/2 hour before food Dadimadi ghrta 10gm on empty stomach with warm water daily in the mornings Panchasakara choorna 5 gm at bed time with warm water If you have very dry stools and do not pass any bowel for days at a time,use Gandharvahasteranda capsule 2tab at bed time instead of panchasakara choorna. If you are having sticky unsatisfactory stools and burning sensation in stomach, ther needs a slight treatment adjustment. Reduce the dosage of dhanwantaram gulika to 1 thrice daily and include sutsekhar ras tablet 1 thrice along with it. At bedtime take avipathy choorna 5gm along with warm water in place of panchasakara choorna. The rest of the treatment can be left same. In your diet include more freshly prepared,soft foods and ghee. Include more sprouts and fiber Avoid taking large quantities of rice, biscuits, packaged foods, coconuts, etc. I can also prepare a high fiber diet plan for you to stick to if I get to know your habits better. First thing you have to do is the correction of digestive fire,the reason for this problem is mandagni/slow digestive fire.when agni is weak,food is not digested and thus results in the accumulation of toxins/ama. Always eat warm,freshly cooked meals,eat only when hungry and have light dinner before 8pm & stay hydrated. Regarding the internal medication,you can start with 1. Gandharvahasthadi kashyam - 15ml ks + 45ml warm water ,b/f,twice daily. 2.Dhanwantaram gulika - 1-0-1,with kashaya. 3.Avipathi churnam - 5g with warm water before bed. And please share your condition after 2 weeks.
