Can I swallow or spit out Nasya oil? - #50336

When I use Nasya oil, it drips down the back of my throat, which I understand is normal. My question is can the oil be swallowed, or spit out? Thank you.

-You can spit out your nasta oil , because in Ayurvedic nastya treatment clearly mentioned that spit our the medicinal oil because it causes discomfort in trachea etc parts
-if you accidentally swallow oil it couldn’t be a harmful, so you don’t be afraid of this
-after nasya do not forget dhum Or swedana

Alwz after doing nasya, the oil which comes in your throat u have to spit it out, bcz it consists of dosha which u are spitting out. If u ingulf it then there will be no meaning of nasya, dosha will still stay in your body , nasya is performing to expell out all doshas above head region.
